I started in 2018 with 3C in Naperville and stayed when they switched to RISE medical AND REC. I…read moremoved and now the Joliet location is easier- less of a selection. A few weeks ago I got an email from Rise, that I found to be AWFUL to send out, ESPECIALLY to MEDICAL PATIENTS. They are supporting rec users become MEDICAL, they will have access to OUR ALREADY LIMITED MED INVENTORY. MANY OTHER REASONS. It's being PROMOTED in the store when you walk in- One of the reasons the sign states compares MED taxes vs REC taxes. It was at 12:26 on 4/30- TODAY. Today a woman walked fast to get inside before me, I didn't care. She got in the REC line- She is NOT a medical patients. She is a recreational cannabis user not being used as medication your doctors want you to try or take. The guy was rude and not helpful at all about my capsule questions and was just rushing. As I walked away I saw the REC lady walk right up to him, the MEDICAL PATIENT said something about it, I did not hear what she said, but she said something. The REC lady said no I've been waiting, it was about 3 minutes. THE EMPLOYEE SAID- YEAH SHE'S BEEN WAITING LONGER. THAT'S NOT THE POINT OF A MEDICAL LINE OR MEDICAL CANNABIS. To SELL MORE, you're PROMOTING people WITHOUT THE HEALTH NEEDS FOR IT TO get a MEDICAL CARD for savings and to dip into your SMALL POT OF MED INVENTORY AS IS. I've since I received that email, switched to CURALEAF in NEW LENOX- They are VERY helpful, never rush, DO NOT treat MEDICAL patients differently, and many other things but I'm tiring of typing. **I've only. been there if I NEED a product they DON'T have. 2018-2026 I've used 3C and then RISE. I am super disappointed as a med patient- I jumped through hoops to get my medical card and my doctor and that process is very expensive, and obviously insurance does not cover a dime. Fingerprints, mini photo, background check ETC. I'll never return UNLESS I can't find a product I need ANYWHERE else. Rise Joliet is really getting bad. The Naperville location was no where near as bad as this location. Try again. But you did lose a patient TODAY that has supported RISE since 2018-2026. Good Luck!

Nice, very clean inside and a nice selection to choose from. Well organized but they round up your…read moreorder to the nearest dollar instead of giving you change. Even if you pay with cash. They give you stickers and a lighter. They don't even give you a sample in lieu of your "change" being taken. The receipt from the purchase. I received a discount as a 1st time visit but if you don't notice it you will be charged full price. No where on the website did I see they ROUND UP. If they round up on every customer no matter how you pay that is stealing and adds up to a lot of money at the end of the day. NOT COOL!!!! They don't even give reward/loyalty points/dollars on your orders. I've NEVER been to a dispensary that didn't give samples or that ROUND UP to the nearest dollar. Although I was in and out, I wonder how much that rounding up adds up to at the end of the day per customer.

I was told one thing by him as he did the computer for me, but was given lesser quality lesser THC and cost more then what he said it was , I actually had to say no to a second 3.5 as the total was more then he originally said. He was charming, however not honest. I literally drive to here for the 4/20 sale , and a first time customer. I wasn't given the 30% off first time customer and was not given my senior discount either. Needless to say they how me some money back, as it's not right to do that as a customer. Not a happy customer at all!
