Even though I made the requests, the therapist did her routine and ignored my requests--no deep tissue, and no special work on the areas requested. When presented with the $170 bill, I explained to the therapist why I was not leaving a tip. She promptly told me I did not know what I was talking about and declared me to be "an asshole". Since I typically get a massage weekly in Houston, I am pretty sure I know the difference between deep tissue and a rub down. I did get a wonderful massage last summer while here in Kennebunkport but this was a real letdown. I forgot to mention that after I told her no tip, she added a 24% charge on my card without my knowledge. When I asked for a printed receipt she said it was already emailed. I insisted on a printed copy and found she had added a $42.50 tip and then quickly subtracted it after I asked for the receipt. Buyer beware......
