Her crew was punctual, respectful, and professional. All work was performed as agreed upon (trees and stumps were removed) without any damage to surrounding structures or landscaping. All debris was removed and the only evidence that work was done was the neat pile of wood chips left by the stump grinder. I would definitely recommend Merriman for any tree removal work and would not hesitate to work with them again. Do yourself a favor, get multiple bids but make sure to get one from Merriman.

The following week, two younger fellows came out to do the job, spent the day working hard, my husband checked into a few times, noting that some of the things talked about during the initial meeting were not "planned for," such a replacement of a few broken bricks and a lime treatment of some sort (my husband handled these conversations). Things we were willing to let go. The two men finished, IT LOOKED GREAT! We thanked them, payed them, and off they went.. Less than two weeks later, weeds started to take over the entire flower bed.. We noticed there was no weed barrier (carpet) laid to protect against the weeds (which was agreed upon in the initial meeting). We called to have this corrected, only to be told that they would not be correcting this issue, and that we needed to buy a weed killer to spray instead. In my opinion, this response was not very professional, or sensitive to the fact that our children play around the area they suggested we douse with harmful chemicals.. I wish I was writing a more positive review. If you chose this company, make sure the person who comes to give you a quote writes down the quality of work you are expecting.

My firt time working with him and not a good impression. Keson came out and cleaned gutters but at…read morethe very last step, he and his employee extended a very heavy 30' fiberglass extension ladder to its limit while it was maybe 15 feet from the house. Then they lost control of it and it fell onto my gutter, causing it to be bashed. (When I saw them doing this I had to walk away, as I couldn't watch: the ladder could easily have fallen in the other direction onto the next door house, or onto a nearby electrical line.) Then Keson said there was nothing wrong with the gutter and wanted me to pay him in full for the gutter cleaning. I told him I wanted to have a roofer check and assure that the gutter was still secure and functioning, and he agreed to wait to be paid. But while waiting some weeks for the roofer, I realized that when I go to sell the house, this is going to be an eyesore. Bottom line, he damaged it, he should bear the cost of fixing it. Instead, he got angry and told me he was going to take me to court. The cost of the gutter cleaning is probably pretty close to the cost of replacing that section of gutter.
