I agreed to pay him $3400.00 for the 2 days. At the end of the 2 days he packed up and quit but the job was not to my satisfaction which he had promised. I made the mistake of paying him in full. I tried over the course of the summer and fall to reach him via the phone (8 calls) and a letter which he never responded to. I even offered to pay him additionally if he would just come back and finish - still no response. Beware of this company. However, we called on June 12th to have another tree knocked down for a client. They said they hoped to get to it by June 30th. It is now July 22nd. If my math is correct, that is over a month for a simple tree knockdown, no cleanup. After having to chase them down for the last 20 days, and them saying that they "forgot to schedule us" or would call us back (and did not), we have had to go with a different company. Understandably, there was a heat wave and storm that affected their schedule - not a problem when there is good (or any) communication. We are all about supporting local businesses, but being unreliable put us in a difficult position with our clients. TLDR: Great work if you can get them to site!
