It is now not possible to go in person and look at the pallets, the online photos are not sufficient to really tell what there is. And it seems that Erkelens and Olson are starting to "present" some items in a misleading way. For example, they presented some Pokemon cards as if they were vetted as a collection that could have been very valuable; however, they turned out to be not authentic. Buyer beware is totally acceptable and understandable; however, when you start presenting things as something they are not, I have a problem with that. Another example of this was some vinyl albums they presented in the photos in a way to completely obscure the severely damaged ones, which happened to be the majority of them. It would be better if they would return to the old method of allowing live auctions and not doing everything online.

Most recently, I bought 6 swimming pools from them and when picking them up I found a sticker stating one was a customer return as the package was "missing accessories or parts". They were good to keep though and refund me, for which I was grateful. When I got home, I found a sticker on another one that was also a return as "broken product/not working" and the box had "REFUSED" in marker on it from the last person who bought it at auction. (It had a previous auction number on it as well.) I emailed them about this and Robert Olson replied and LIED to me, stating all of these pools come from Sam's Club as refused by customers upon delivery. This was refused by an auction winner, not a Sam's Club customer and it's returned as a "broken product/not working". It wouldn't say that if it had been refused at the door by a customer; how would they know it was broken? That and the previous auction number written on the box by the statement "REFUSED" when none of the other pools I bought said this on them, tells me this is bs! Olson said it's sold as is and will not work with me. I'll stop wasting money here and would suggest the same to anyone reading this.

You can't trust that the gear this company is giving you is actually in the condition they say it's in, or that if you order something that they will even get you the whole order. I think with mine they missed a whole box. When I picked it up though, their staff would not let me go into the facility to make sure that had everything we need. They said they loaded everything and made me sign for it. I spent hundreds more dollars building a custom-made platform for this shed to go on, only to find once I unboxed the thing that it was completely useless. It took me months just to build the platform, unpack everything and find out how much was missing. They didn't even include an instruction manual and it took me weeks to find that as well.

They auction state and county government vehicles ranging from passenger cars, AWD, 4x4, motorcycles, heavy commercial equipment, etc. I could see this as a great opportunity for a smaller commercial business. The items are put on their website in advance so you are able to determine what you are interested in before the day of the sale. You also have the ability to bid online as well. We arrived about 8 am and registered. The auction started promptly at 9 and seemed to run very efficiently. The items we were interested in ended up going for more than we were willing to pay but it was a good and interesting experience!

If you feel like you didn't get a fair introduction to the auction then again it is your own fault for not asking. Every time I have been to the auction, the staff has been extremely helpful and even over the top on occasion. My ONLY complaint is that the store is awful!! It either a) needs to be bigger or b) limit the number of people in their.
