We had an exceptional experience boarding our cat through Katie's Kitty. She is a timid cat with a…read morelot of fears and some very specific quirks -- like not being able to be left alone overnight -- that past in-home sitters have ignored, leading us to be stressed and upset on trips and our cat even more so. We haven't had a single trip that's gone without major issues because of sitter neglect and lack of care. We decided to try boarding to help with our cat's separation anxiety and we still can't believe how well it went. Communication and expectations were open and clear, and the sitter went above and beyond to make sure our cat felt safe and cared for, even with her timidity and fears. She did so much to ease her anxiety and help her in the stressful situation of unfamiliarity and interrupted routine. It was a dream come true to find someone like this. I was also reassured by concluding a contract with the company, which clearly stipulates all provisions of the boarding and when we'll receive updates/photos, etc. It eased our minds so much compared with past experiences when communication was totally sporadic despite someone living in our home. We will absolutely book through them in the future. Their professionalism and dedication were so appreciated!

As everyone who owns cats already knows, you cannot introduce cats like this. And how did I find out? The cat was in the background of the update photo she sent on night one. I insisted on a full refund and rightfully received it, but have heard absolutely nothing from management (Ed), no apology from Anna B who "didn't know what the big deal was" and got zero responses to my two emails. Very disappointing experience. I cannot speak for other sitters or managers, but based on my experience I'd recommend choosing another boarding company!

The store gives you everything you need to take home a new puppy which is extremely helpful to a first time pet-owner (food, toys, weepads, bowls, treats). My cavalier, Lucy is healthy and happy. Her temperament is excellent, she's social, kind with everyone she meets, other dogs and children. In general, when you take your dog for their first check-up they may have common things like an ear infection or gastro issue. Highly recommend purchasing pet insurance 2-weeks before you take home your furbaby, as they have waiting periods of about 2 - weeks and so anything the vet catches in that time they won't cover or cover sometimes in the future. Another thing that helped me was purchasing an older puppy (4 and half months) because then they have all their wellness vaccines usually - reduces costs and makes it a little easier if considering doggy daycare.

We bought a sweet female Shih Poo, Carly from Zoorama. Sadly, just five months after bringing Carly home, the vet diagnosed her with a serious progressive kidney disease. She died only six years later, which was heartbreaking and unexpected. It's so upsetting that Zoorama cared more about making money than about the health of their animals. They charged high prices but didn't make sure their breeders were responsible. Because of this, we ended up with a very sick puppy, and our family suffered. I'm very disappointed in Zoorama's dishonest practices which only ceased after the law went into effect.
