I told her which gift cards I had and she told me upfront what they would be willing to pay out for those in cash. Before hanging up, I questioned about closing time and she said yes its 6pm but you'd want to come before that because it takes some time to look up the balances. I let her know I'd be in well before 6pm and was heading there shortly. Upon arrival I was buzzed into the store since it is locked at all times and greeted by the same women from on the phone, I believe her name is Linda. She was friendly and told me to have a seat when I let her know I was the one who had just called and inquired about the gift cards. She saw me rubbing glue off the back of one the gift cards and said something to the effect of, "oh yeah, lots of places won't accept them if you scratch the PIN to be visible" ...which I was unaware of but it didn't seem to be an issue as she still proceeded. She told me after everything she'd need my driver's license and phone number to complete the transaction. She looked up the value on the first card online and it went through without a hitch. The second card was an older gift card and didn't have a PIN. She said she was unable to look it up online. I asked to see the back of the card because sometimes they mention if it has no PIN listed what you should use instead. As I was reading it I came upon a section that said you can call this phone number to get your balance if there's no PIN and she said yes I saw that I will try calling. I went outside to get my driver's license while she did that. Upon returning into the store, she hung up the phone and said "yeah I can't get the balance for this one, when I call its taking me to a line for management for that business." I thought it was strange being that I had only been outside for maybe 30 seconds getting my license and she was able to get that info that quickly. I agreed and got the money for the first gift card. When I got into my car, I immediately called the number on the back of the 2nd card and got a message saying "welcome to the gift card hotline, to receive the balance of your gift card, please press 1" followed by "enter your 16 digit card number followed by the # sign" ....I did so and got the balance right away saying all the money was there that I thought. All in all, I'm not sure if I'd return to this store unless I was strapped for cash and needed it right away. My reasons for my rating are this: I'm giving one star for Linda being very polite and pleasant both on the phone and upon me entering the store. I'm giving a second star for her being upfront and letting me know over the phone how much I would receive for both cards. I'm giving a 3rd star for the overall condition of the establishment. However, I'm deducting a star for not explaining the documents or process that needed to be followed when selling gift cards. Even though I called prior to coming in, I wasn't told I'd need to bring in a driver's license (which I luckily had) nor that I should not scratch the PIN or numbers to be revealed on the back of the cards. I'm also deducting a star for her not really putting in much effort to try and get the balance on the second card. I'm not sure what phone number she called but I was able to get the balance and it was very straight forward when I called. It almost felt like she was just brushing it off to be honest, and I'm not sure if its because the back numbers had been scratched to be revealed? Maybe she thought I was trying to pull a fast one on them and didn't want to take a chance, I don't know? To recap: She was friendly and pleasant. And I knew what I would be getting upfront which was nice. But I feel the ball was dropped on the rest of it. I will probably go elsewhere next time unless its an emergency.

I'd been looking for awhile and really loved this ring. I was excited to see they had it on display for me to try on. The display model was a size 10 and fit too tight, so I asked if they could order a 10.5. The salesperson said yes, disappeared upstairs for a while, and came back confirming it would take about a week. While he was writing up the invoice, he dropped the display ring on the floor while bagging it, and as he picked it up he said, "don't worry, this isn't your ring" and promptly put the ring into a clear ziplock bag with some paperwork. I incorrectly assumed this was for verification purposes once my ring had been delivered. On August 3 I got a call that the ring was ready. I picked it up on August 6. The ring was handed to me in the same ziplock bag with the same paperwork from the ring he'd dropped on July 29. While I was there, another employee asked if this was a "repair," which struck me as an odd thing to ask about a brand new ring ordered directly from the manufacturer. There was also no certificate of authenticity included, even though my fiance's previous David Yurman purchases came with one. I didn't think much of it at the time, but looking back, both of those things should have been red flags. Once I got home and looked at the ring closely, I found nicks, dings, and a rough spot I could feel when I ran my finger across it. Not what you expect from something brand new. I called the store about 40 minutes after leaving. I was told this shouldn't happen on a ring that hadn't even been worn yet, and to bring it back in. I was assured I wouldn't be stuck with it. The next morning I went back, hoping this was some kind of mix-up and that maybe I'd been handed the wrong ring by mistake. The employee I spoke with inspected it under a loupe and offered to open a repair claim. Before agreeing to that, I brought up what I'd noticed: the dropped display ring, the same bag and paperwork reused at pickup, and the word "repair" listed on my original invoice for what was supposed to be a new purchase. He went to check with the original salesperson and came back to tell me that the display ring had actually been resized for me, because ordering my correct size would have taken 20 weeks. A few things worth noting... 1) This was meant to be my wedding band and I was very upfront with that with my salesperson. 2) I was under the impression this was being order brand new in the correct size 3) David Yurman's own policy states this style cannot be resized, yet Orr's resized it anyway. At that point I asked for a full refund and returned the ring. I told him that if something is going to take 20 weeks, customers should be informed and allowed to make that decision themselves, rather than being quietly handed the display model and led to believe it's new. By not informing me of the alleged 20 weeks, the impression I was left with is that this organization prioritizes moving stocked inventory over giving customers what they actually asked for. He got defensive, insisted that's not how Orr's operates, and framed the refund as him doing me a favor, for returning a ring that was originally a half size too small, had been dropped and damaged by their own employee, then resized without repairing that damage, and presented to me as new. He did process the refund, however, the details regarding the "repair" were removed from the receipt he gave me for the refund. When I discovered the damage yesterday, I incorrectly was giving Orr's the benefit of the doubt. Today, after being told it would take 20 weeks to arrive, I ordered the ring from the manufacturer directly and discovered it will arrive much sooner than 20 weeks. It will be here tomorrow. I'll never shop at Orr's again. It's hard to trust an organization who feels comfortable enough to sell a groom a damaged & used wedding band while presenting it as brand new.

My girlfriend doesnt wear bracelets a whole lot to begin with, and I swear that the only time this thing came out of the bag was to look at it, try it on and put it back in and say it was too big. I met with the salesman and was told that a couple months back they changed their policy and now offered free cleaning. My bracelet has large links on it so it is difficult to polish. He said they would be able to hand polish it as well as run it through their cleaning machine within an hour. Yes Tiffany is the famous New York chain that carries premier jewelry but they also carry sterling silver as well as some charms which are more affordable. I saw in the case a beautiful rose-gold heart necklace with an arrow going through it. I was happy to learn I could get that necklace for a fraction of the cost in sterling silver.So I ended up buying it. The salesman told me to bring my other pieces in for cleaning and inspection and I agree to do so. After killing some time in the mall I returned to pick up my bracelet. It looked like it was brand new again so I was glad that this service is free. They did tell me however, that if your jewelry does need repaired then they have to send it out.but cleanings can be done here at this store. Again, I want to stress as I did in my NY review that anything you see online or in any of their other stores across the country including the flagship store on Fifth Ave, this store can get it here and you don't have to pay that state's tax. They still give you the famous blue box with the white bow.
