TLDR: Customer Support called me an "Entitled Karen" (several times) for requesting a refund on a defective part. Unfortunately I had a very bad experience with Treadmill Doctor. I ordered a motor and a control board for my treadmill. The motor is good but the control board was defective and needed to be returned. After filing the Return Authorization and getting no response for several days, I call their Customer Support line. After explaining the issue, the agent said the part would need to be shipped back for testing. They would have it independently tested and, if found defective, they would then issue a replacement. I said I would rather just have a refund. At this point he said (apparently to his boss across the room) ... "This Entitled Karen wants a refund instead of a replacement." The boss said something like, "Who?" and the agent said, "This guy I'm talking to. I'm done with these Entitled Karens." At that point I said, "Excuse me?" and he said, "Yes, I'm talking about you. You're an Entitled Karen." Our conversation went on for a bit longer but you get the gist of it. read more

Horrible business. I will never buy anything from them again. I ordered a walking belt from them with the specific serial number of my treadmill in the part name. They sent me a belt that didn't fit and I tried to make a return. Their customer service wanted me to send everything back and keep $85 of my $165 order and leave me empty handed. They hide predatory business practices behind terms of service. Shipping fees, restocking fees, and return shipping are all non refundable, even when it's their mistake. read more

It first took 2 weeks to get my order when I paid for shipping to be received in 5 days. It takes them a lot of time to prepare the order. Not a big deal. Then, I received my order and it was the wrong size. I paid to send it back and they said I got it dirty and they won't refund me. It was pretty dang clean when I sent it. Unbelievable. Never again with this company. I don't know how they would offer a lifetime warranty it would probably have to be never used to get a refund. read more

Cant say one good thing about this company . It was a hassle trying to get a walking belt and or a belt for my motor. I sent them pics of model and they still could not help. As many others have stated I sent back a perfectly clean walking belt that did not fit and was told that it was dirty and would not receive my refund. I paid to have it shipped back my self. It took several e mails and don't even try to call just wasting your time to even get a response. Only to be told no refund. On 03/13/26, we were looking to purchase a running belt and a drive belt for our treadmill. I used their chat to make sure that the two parts that I was looking at were compatible with our model. They said yes, they were. So we purchased those items. We found one of them did not fit. They would not own up to their mistake and only gave us two options. 1) we send it back for a refund, where we pay for shipping and lose 20% for restocking .. or 2) we ship it back for an exchange, where we pay for shipping. I got horrible customer service. Got a treadmill walking belt, but ordered the wrong size. Customer service had me send it back (good), but then told me that I had put it on and that it appeared dirty ON THE INSIDE. The belt was 6 inches too short so not sure what they were talking about, $130 down the drain. 0/0 stars, not recommended. read more

I've ordered multiple treadmill parts over the last few years for worn out belts, decks, etc. Unfortunately the last deck I ordered broke only 4 months after I replaced it. However the team there was very responsive and helpful in honoring the 1 year warranty that was listed on and got a replacement sent out to me. read more

Called with treadmill issue and talked to tech and went through troubleshooting over the phone and tech said it was the control board. Spent $220 on a new board and when I installed it, the treadmill had the same issue. Called and talked to tech again and he had me reinstall old board and try unplugging motor wires and determined the motor was bad. So, now I had do send the new control board back that I did not need in the first place due to their bad troubleshooting and I only got $167 back as a refund because of a 20% restocking fee. I feel this may have been on purpose because why on earth would you not have me try unplugging the motor from the old board first before ordering a new board. read more

I'd been looking for weeks for slider wheels for an old elliptical, without success. I happened upon TD and called them. Steve answered and asked me for a part number. I told him I'd call him back. I got his v-mail and left him the part number and asked him to call me back, either way. (FAT CHANCE these days...). Steve called me back in about 15 mins. Amazing service from Kevin Clay!! I needed a new motherboard for an older Life span treadmill that is no longer made. Kevin found me a motherboard that was almost identical. We needed slightly modify the wire connectors and it worked! When I called Life span originally they told me I needed a whole new upgraded motherboard and console.
