Especially on the road, I've talked to some of my friends and they told me some of the driving school they went to the other teachers are not nice, so I said let me try iDrive driving academy and I did. I've come to understand that not everyone are the same. Because I had the best experience going to this school and for a sudden I didn't wanted this class to end, because of this man lecture, his approaches, and also his patience. I used to be so afraid of the road, but guys can you imagine now because of this school I'm a brave person!!! The instructor, Coach Michael, was calm, patient, and supportive, which really helped build my son's confidence behind the wheel. We continued practicing at home and were making great progress toward completing his required driving hours. Unfortunately, the last two lessons were a completely different experience. The instructor, Toya Phillips, was assigned for both sessions, and her approach was extremely concerning. My son shared that she was impatient, raised her voice, and was overly critical rather than supportive. During one lesson, while practicing parking, she became frustrated when he didn't perform the maneuver correctly and spoke to him in a harsh and discouraging way. As a result, his confidence has significantly declined, and he is now experiencing anxiety behind the wheel and does not feel ready to take his driver's test. I was also very troubled to hear that she told my son another student had become so upset during a lesson that they got out of the car and refused to continue. That alone raises serious concerns about her professionalism and teaching style. In addition, my son has ADHD, which was disclosed at the time of enrollment. This makes patience and clear, supportive instruction even more important--unfortunately, that was not our experience. I attempted to contact the school on two separate days and left messages but did not receive a response. Had there been communication and a resolution offered, I would have preferred to handle this privately rather than leave a public review. As I prepared to write this, I also noticed that Toya Phillips has been mentioned in other negative reviews, which suggests this may not be an isolated issue. At this point, I am requesting two additional driving sessions with Coach Michael, as he was professional, patient, and truly made a positive impact on my son's learning experience. Driving instruction requires patience, professionalism, and the ability to build confidence in new drivers. Based on our experience, I do not believe Toya Phillips should be working in this role.

It turns out that me and another guy in my class scheduled our driving test on the same day around the same time and on the day of the test, both of us were the only ones that passed our test out of the other teenagers on the course (you can watch other drivers while waiting in line for your turn). Even on the phone prior to my lessons Dale made me feel more at ease. After my first lesson I already felt like I could master highway driving. He took his time with me and gradually increased the difficulty until I felt more confident. I now can drive places that I couldn't drive before and my anxiety is almost non existent. Much better format than back in the '80s and the class moves along fairly fast. Range riding, as expected, on 250 cc bikes with more than a few dents but in decent condition for the learning task. The staff is both strict and encouraging. For those getting a license, the end of the course will document skill and allow for a rider test at the end. If it's been a while, it can't do any harm and might save your skin. Riding a motorcycle entails serious risk. For me, it's the ride itself that matters and it's pure joy.

As a Co-owner, I first took the performance sailing classes. We then asked the school if we can hire an instructor for a day to give us personal instruction on both our boat and how to fly our spinnaker. The school sent to us Sean, an instructor with tons of experience with spinnakers of all types. Sean provided us a detailed assessment of our equipment and the role of each member of crew-- the pit person, the trimmers and the foredeck person. At the end of the day of flying the chute, we all felt more confident and are ready to race spin fleet.
