I am just here to share my most recent experience with Travis credit union and their terrible practices. If you're a person or family barely making it living paycheck to paycheck and don't have a hefty savings or investments account, They will absolutely not value you as a customer. Long story short, they unexpectedly closed all 6 of our accounts without warning. Funds all frozen and no way to get them back within a reasonable time. My husband had been on disability for a few weeks. So he had not been receiving his employers direct deposit into our joint account. But his personal account, which Edd gets direct deposit to, and my personal account, where I receive my employers direct deposit, (Zelle, Venmo & cashapp from my small business) have been active. There was a scheduled payment that we forgot about come out of our joint that over drafted our account. However there were funds in our personal and savings accounts that could have been transferred over to take care of that, but because our joint account had been inactive for longer then 45 days (no deposits or withdrawals or transactions), that was the reasoning why all accounts where closed. Not just the joint account in question. We thought we were being responsible by not using said account since my husband was not working. When I called and asked why I hadn't received a courtesy call, to warn us about closing all accounts, Jimmy R. Said "we don't do courtesy calls". This was extremely frustrating as we both had our direct deposits pending and rent due. The j Ku solution given was to return to the branch and open new accounts, but funds from old accounts would be sent by mail and take up to 10 business days. Pending direct deposits would bounce back, as accounts were no longer active. So opening new accounts would absolutely not solve our problem. Conveniently our car loan account was kept open so we could walk into any branch and pay off our loan at our convenience. I've been banking with Travis longer than 10 years. Never in my life have I felt so small. Given our financial hardship and not receive any sympathy. We weren't asking for anything but our funds same day so we can pay our rent and eat. We are still waiting for said check and Jimmy to give us an update. We w called back twice and both associates have let us know that there are notes from Jimmy and to just wait for his call. DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE. BE AWARE They will discriminate against you during the lending process for your race/religion and other identifying factors that violate the Equal Opportunity Credit Act. They literally had me sign a contract, open a card issued the line of credit issued and even had the card showing up in my account. Then the loan person that had an issue with me personally decided to suspend my card and funding which is now negatively affecting my credit situation because of it. They treated me like a criminal after an approval...I have a 706 score and it was an instant approval with no income docs required...Then everything changed when 1 person got involved well after I was approved...PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE!! AND Nobody in their member service departments listen. read more

I don't know what's going on with Travis Credit Union but wait times are very long and long lines are out the door! Only two tellers on a payday Friday afternoon is ridiculous. And the elderly are having to wait standing. They need to fix this! read more

I learned in the FF branch on Texas Street the day prior 11/15 that my account had been closed, but left upset due to reason's that will be explained in their negative yelp review. Given the situation, I was not certain that I wanted to re-open a new account (I had had a savings account since I was 11 and a checking account for over 10 years), but this situation has left me feeling very disregarded and questioning as to why beyond routine I would continue to bank here. However while at the Suisun branch on 11/16 I was prepared to just go with what is familiar (no other reference to claim that it's better) and pay the $23 overdraft fee and a $25 fee to establish a new account, which is what had been explained the day prior at Texas location. So after I signed the check, they tell me that it has to be approved by a manager. The clerk comes back over to me and let's me know that I need to pay my credit card first. So I explain that I came with exact money I thought I needed, and left. The credit card fee was there yesterday, I don't appreciate what little consideration was given to my situation and that the expectations of what I had to do from one branch to the other had changed. I understand these fees are my responsibility, but I had been unemployed for 10 months and the overdraft was a fee being addressed by the company who made the mistake, yet because of incorrect information from one branch to the other and what seemed like tit for tat by the manager- I was not able to resolve the issue- bank was closing and I have to address these matters within a branch since I no longer have account, but I just started working again and can barely get to the branch before closing. All of this could have been prevented if the establishment had a practice of calling it's customers and extending good customer service to ensure their long standing member knows that account is at risk of being closed over $23. read more

I have my ups and down with this credit union.. the location is really nice depending on the time you go if you have trouble finding parking or not since it's located right next to a gym! Staff has always been super kind and helpful. The hours makes it a little inconvenient since they open at 10am and close at 6pm so people that work early and get off late your in trouble. The atm was broken for a while;not receiving deposits of cash.(I haven't checked lately I pretty much gave up).the location atm does Take deposits of checks because I just went yesterday and the atm took it with no problems. The credit union needs a little improvement I feel. The bank sent me a new pin to my bank card without me requesting and due to the times of the bank i could never go and change it and I'm never going to remember a pin that is not one of my own(let alone carry the paper around with me) so I had trouble paying my car note by not being able to deposit money into the account... it was a headache.. so that's why I give 3 stars but the bank location is great. read more

What an incredible customer service that I experienced to NITHA. She helped my complicated problems when it comes to online banking and other issues to my debit card. She's really polite and you could feel only good vibes even though you're really worried to your problem. I really gonna recommend her to my other friends. I only ever come into here to get my rent check. Pretty fast service and everyone is always really nice. Just note that they close at 2pm on Saturdays where I think the other branches stay open longer. read more

Small and packed... The service here is slow... Opening an account seems like a lifetime! I don't know why, customer service is fair. Come early or else u'll be there longer! Use the ATM outside to save more time or if ur in a rush! Or better yet stop by at the other branch located in gateway blvd near the Solano Mall! Service is great here! All the tellers are very friendly, always smiling. Malila is AWESOME. Her service is always wonderful and will help you in any way possible. She is a great conversationalist also and helped me with my accounting homework in the past lol! Even better!
