Was definitely surprised. Went to open a new account. And was promptly taken care of. Amber was amazing. Took her time and answered my questions and more. They treated me as a person not a number.. Amazing customer service and support. Amber was again very helpful. read more

Amber Hauff, the financial service representative, was exceptional today with the service we received. I was educated on money market accounts, something I have not learned about before. Already making money! Appreciate the service and support. I've been with Travis Credit Union for over 20 years and would not go anywhere else. read more

DO NOT USE THIS CREDIT UNION. Costco uses this credit union for financing. You'll regret using this institution. We were forced to use them with financing through Costco for an HVAC system. Do not use Costco for a HVAC system either. It's been the worst experience with this financial institution. Customer Service is horrible. Agnes needs a customer service class. You NEVER put someone on hold without telling them why or asking them if it's okay. In addition, you sounded prejudice. You ask if a translator is needed after the fact. During the loan process, I requested a translator and I was told they don't offer or have translators. The institution is a joke. If you're a foreigner don't use this place. You'll be treated horribly. read more

I wanted to express my deepest gratitude for the stellar service you've provided--especially when it comes to the unparalleled precision of your credit card payment scheduling. Your innovative approach to causing me late fees has truly become a highlight of my financial endeavors. The sheer consistency with which you've managed to add that extra touch to my credit score is commendable. It's heartening to witness such dedication to maintaining a certain standard, even if it involves a delightful runaround when contacting your customer service. I must also applaud your low-tech charm, as it adds a unique flavor to modern banking. The notion that each spouse should have a separate online banking account for bill pay is, without a doubt, a stroke of genius. Who wouldn't want the joy of entering payment information twice for the same bill? It's a small price to pay for such organizational prowess. In conclusion, your illogical and unfriendly charm has left an indelible mark. Thank you for providing an experience that transcends the ordinary. I wholeheartedly recommend others to savor the distinct pleasure of banking with you. Warm regards, A Highly Satisfied Customer Worst credit Union ever !!!! read more

Unable to get a direct number to the branch. The lock your card for 40 dollars and allow 398 to go through without question. Fraud has happened several times over the past 15 years. Also when I withdraw money it would be nice to have a limit of 1000 not 5 hundred. at ATM. They don't have a fraud department anymore and it is harder to navigate the new app. However they are very nice on the phone and in the branch. read more

They always have good service here. I've been with them for probably 30 years. I need to make an appointment for CD's n possible money market accounts. Finally I can earn some reasonable interest rates. read more

WORST BANK AND SERVICE I HAVE AND WILL PROBABLY EVER WORK WITH. I've never had so much trouble getting to someone to help and the amount of security issues I run into on a monthly basis. What is a 24 pin I have never set that up before. I've changed my address yet you don't recognize either one of them now. Your app is not user friendly and now I will not be able to make a payment. I just want to set up autopay but again no one is there to answer my call. Travis you are going to be the only reason why I can't pay my bill. If it's even possible I'm switching immediately for my car loan. Despicable. I wish I could put 0 stars. Looks like majority of customers agree. You've failed. read more

This CU by far has the worst customer service when it comes to answering questions and giving timely notices. We have been trying to recoup money that was charged to our car loan that was applied to loan. They were supposed to refund the money but instead used it towards the loan, which should have been refunded to me, as agreed. To add insult to injury, they doubled the car payment due to their irresponsible practices!! We have been trying to resolve this for at least 30 days, but it seems that all we get is a runaround. I can see that others have had the same experience where TCU conveniently overlooks when insurance is provided timely and yet charges the customer on their mistake and then refuses to do right by them. We have been given promise after promise from the Insurance Dept that this would be resolved, but no resolution has happened as agreed was done. To top it off, there is a wait time of no less than 45 minutes to talk to someone who just transfers you to a deadline!!!!! This is ridiculous and the worst customer service from a bank I have ever seen. WORST. CREDIT UNION.EVER! read more

Travis credit union is one of the worst banks I have ever dealt with. I got a car loan and never lapsed on the insurance, went in showed proof then was give misinformation by travis representatives, in the end travis blamed me for them charging me an extra 700 for insurance even though I had full coverage the whole time. I have been fighting this for years and have found no one at travis to help me. if you bank here be careful they will charge you fees just because and refuse to resolve them. Rude employees. The manager would not help me even though he saw I had proof. please do not bank here. read more

Just spent 2 hours in here with literally a dozen things that needed to be done. Syvil "Sammy" Rizo helped me the entire time and let me tell you she was FABULOUS; especially considering I got a bit b*tchy at first. She was very calm, informative, patient, professional, knowledgeable, and beyond helpful. I would highly recommend her to anyone. read more

Travis Credit Union - Banks & Credit Unions Near Me - Merced, California

This is probably the worst banking experience I've ever had. I deposited money into my savings account I had with my mother. The banker is now saying that she cannot find me in the system because our paperwork was not submitted. They have lost all of our paperwork and I am unable to access my own money. The banker Yesenia Vega tried to give me attitude for something that is clearly the disorganized banks fault. Very unorganized, unprofessional, and rude. I would not suggest banking here whatsoever. read more

This place is so amazing! I absolutely love it! Everyone is very friendly and professional. Anthony was able to help me that same day with my personal loan. He was quick but not pushy or rushing me. On top of that he was so friendly! He listened to me as a person! We need more people like him in this field of business. Travis Credit Union you are wonderful, your friendly staff makes it more amazing! Thank you to your friendly staff! Definitely recommending people to your branch! read more

Out of all types of banks I can have an account with I'm glad I have an account with a Credit Union. Personally I have not not come across any trouble with Travis, their employees are friendly throughout their many branches, and their Co-Op ATMs are a plus, especially at university campus. When my brother had an unauthorized withdrawal from his account they fixed the problem, in how a kindergartner would say, easy-peasy. read more

Seriously this bank has really bad customer service, I understand they close at 5:30 but they act like they can't squeeze in one more person, they already had 4 people in there at the time I was walking up to the door one of the bankers saw me and ran to lock the door!!!!!!! read more

I can't believe there is no local phone number to reach the Merced branch. And when I call the 800 number there is a 23 min. wait time to speak to a real person. I only have a question, did I accidently leave some paperwork there. I don't drive so I have to find another ride there and everybody wants to know why I don't call them. Currently I am on hold with a 23 min wait! Why is there no local number???? read more

Dear people. To whom it may concern and to all that require excellent customer service on and about April 17th I called Travis Credit Union to find out a transaction that had been done on my card that I wasn't aware of. And the response out of the representative out of Vacaville said that it was unpredictable that these things happen and could happen in any entity will me as a customer did not want to hear negative feedback I want it feel that my money is secure and not being in control of an authorized people I'm one good point was that she offered to investigate which would take 3 to 7 business days all she had to do was get on the phone and research it herself well after all this it happen she decided to take it upon herself because of her misinterpretation and not acknowledging what I had told her to do she close my card and I found out today while I was out of town trying to use my card. I called her supervisor and she returned my call because she was too busy like they always are and keep you on the phone for 5 to 15 minutes at a time she didn't responded and said that she went ahead and did it because of my insecurities or my uncertainty which still regardless of my uncertainty at least this is what the supervisor explained but even though if I did not give a verbal word to cancel my card she still went ahead and did it and and was backed up by the supervisor something that wasn't authorized from me well they picked a good darn to get away with it and this is the results that I Wow bu gat the worst customer service I had in very long time, I think they should spend more time trying to help the customer instead of being rude and making the decisions for the customer after all we make the bank and make what it is today. read more
