It was a very sad turn of events but the staff handled everything with such grace and poise. The lady who initially checked us in was so friendly and kind. The captain kept us updated with real time feedback and made sure everyone was aware of the plan. It was very unfortunate that we were able to complete our excursion but we were offered alternative options or refunded the full amount of our tickets right there on the spot. We chose to get a refund which was an easy process with the captain. As first time visitors to Traverse city this was something we were really looking forward to and are hoping to try again when we return!

You wonder onto Groupon in a last ditch effort to salvage the day and that is just what my friend did, so seeing as Nauti-Cat was an option for the time we'd hoped for and the amount of people we had was like this has to be it. And it was! We got there a bit early because we wanted to ensure we didn't screw this up again and the process to get registered and ready was simple. After 5 minutes to get us all set, we walked over to the hotel next door just to take a peek around and it was lovely - the back deck off the water was gorgeous. The restaurant looked dreamy. Then we boarded the boat and left all the day's stresses behind. The tunes came on, the water was magical, the crew was nice and funny and let us just do our thing. They had a shotski and lots of vacation energy. I would definitely go again and would recommend anyone else in the area looking for a majestic, peaceful and relaxing boat outing to check it out!

The boat is a good size for the amount of people, as there are plenty of seats for everyone and you get a good view wherever you are at. It can get a bit chilly on the water so make sure you bring a jacket if its chill out. The staff was friendly and even made a cocktail for us that was not officially on the menu. The view on the lake is beautiful, and this is a great couples boat ride, or even to do with family.

We loved the drinks and snacks and conversation. Both Nate and Mark were knowledgeable and friendly and made us feel 100% at ease on the boat. We got some fun history of the boat and area as well good recommendations for the rest of our trip. These 2 guys have recently bought the boat and tour business with another owner and they are doing a great job with their new business! Captain Nate even talked to us about books- which as a book club girls trip was 10/10!!

All the equipment functioned well. We had no problems with the boat during the trip. The bed in the main cabin was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in. This was our first time sailing on Lake Michigan. There are limited places to anchor, but there are many marinas. All of the marinas have adjacent beaches and grassy areas with play grounds. Marinas are near walking trails, restaurants, grocery stores, and anything else cruisers need.

Couldn't get any boat to work. Not very professional. We were told we would get a refund. It took numerous emails and phone calls to finally have someone respond. Took over a week to finally see our refund. Not a good experience. I would not rent here.

We were very surprised that we were able to rent a pontoon same day for 3 hrs. We made reservations over the phone and were able to split the costs when we arrived. We've driven pontoons before but the instructions on how to operate their equipment was helpful and direct. The boat was very clean, all equipment (life jackets, anchor, radio, canvas umbrella) meticulously maintained. The weather was perfect. We will definitely use them again.

I booked weeks in advance and had some questions, which were answered to my satisfaction over the phone. We booked it for the TC condominium location. The only negative is that I wish they warned me over the phone or somewhere on their website that there were no change rooms... most people had to change in the car. The location/parking was easy to find, but there were no signs anywhere to direct us to the check in location on the beach (small hut). I called the phone number for the business and someone picked up right away though and directed us to check in. The rest of the trip was smooth sailing (literally)! The check in process was efficient with the usual signing of waivers, safety talk etc. The staff were very helpful and friendly. They helped us get on to the boat safely and also helped us bring up the cooler, which was beyond our expectations. The boat was in good condition and we had no issues with it. Once our 2 hours was up, we made our way back to the dock where the staff were ready to help us dock and get out of the boat. They all seemed like very hardworking and eager employees! Overall, it was a wonderful experience! Everyone was super helpful and we had a blast!

We were dropped off at our airbnb afterward. What a day! Mike & Billy were perfect hosts. They were fun & informative. We laughed all day. The service was excellent as well. We even left a box of wine on the van. They returned it to us shortly after we notified them (an hour after we were dropped off). Communicating was all done through the phone, mostly text. Everything was very simple. Recommended for wine tasting experts & beginners. You MUST package this with the Traverse City Sail & Charter combo. The price was unbeatable. Mike & Captain Rick communicate so well. Everything worked out perfectly. Thanks Mike & Billy! Our family will be returning!

I sincerely don't believe this shuttle service deserves even one star. The lack of professionalism…read moreis astounding. We had booked a limo about a month ago for our bachelorette party, driver shows up with an old disgusting van because the limo "broke down." The company didn't even have the decency to call us and let us know before showing up with this atrocity of a vehicle. If they had, we could have had a little time to at least look for a different limousine to rent for the bachelorette party. Instead, the driver shows up and unapologetically announces that the limo we reserved was unavailable. We tried to talk to him and see if there was any way we could get what we were supposed to be paying for. APPARENTLY this company only has ONE limousine. HOW DOES A SERVICE SUCH AS THIS HAVE ONLY ONE LIMO? Astounding. Also- icing on the cake- the driver was absolutely maniacal. He whipped the van around curves way too fast. We also did a little off roading. We thought for sure we would toss our cookies and/or meet our makers. I had to call several times to speak with Mike who is supposedly the person one must talk to in order to "make things right". I left two voicemails and continued calling. While the rest of my party was tasting wine, I was sitting in the parlor trying to get ahold of this man. I finally got through, and he continuously talked over me just making things worse. He ended up giving us somewhat of a discount, but no discount could have made up for this... experience. ALSO this was a return visit for us. The first time we had these guys, they gave us the wrong vehicle as well. Long story short, if you want an event full of sickness and uncertainty, these guys are great. Spectacular even. But for a once in a lifetime event where you want what you pay for, stay away.
