When we reached Paris airport, the shuttle driver was waiting. We booked a private car for 2 people…read morebut he was there with a Large Van. The shuttle was parked very close to arrival exit so we did not need to walk much. Good part ends here! We left to our AirBnB destination which was very close to Eiffel Tower. As there was EuroCup going on, some roads were blocked around Eiffel Tower. Taxi driver wanted to drop us 300m away from place. Just imagine walking on wet roads with luggage and kids after a long flight! I called my AirBnB host Romain who tried to explain alternative roads to driver. But the driver refused to talk to him. So our host decided to come to pick us at main road. As we were waiting for our host, I saw a lady police officer allowing a vehicle to enter blocked road. I requested driver to talk to the lady police officer. The officer immediately removed barricades and allowed us to enter that road. The roads were only blocked for pass-through traffic, not for vehicles whose destination was on the road! I was surprised a local taxi driver did not know this. What was worse that he did not made any attempt to solve the problem and just wanted to dump us on the road. As we entered the road, I saw Romain, our AirBnB host, coming from opposite side. So I asked driver to stop the car and take him inside car. Romain walked 300 meters just out of humanity. I felt bad as driver did not stop the car saying we paid only for 3 passengers. Well we paid for entire taxi. It wasn't a shared cab so I am not sure what was his problem. In any case, driver should not have been considerate of Romain came walking because of his refusal to cooperate. Also, as Romain had to walk back again, going ahead did not help much as we need to wait 1-2 minutes for Romain to reach back apartment. We cannot blame this on language barrier because our host was talking with driver in French only. The 2-star I gave was only for smooth airport arrival experience as I did not want to discredit the good part. But there is no question of using this service again.

Our driver was calm and sane, and this is someone who drives in Paris for a living! Uneventful trip, nice chat (he told us where to get a sports shirt as a gift), and good value

OMG THIS SUPER SHUTTLE WAS TERRIBLE. PLEASE JUST TAKE AN UBER OR TAXI AND SAVE YOURSELF SOOOO MUCH…read moreFRUSTRATION!!!! It's seriously not worth the savings to use the super shuttle. If I could give it negative stars, I definitely would! I've used super shuttles in other cities and had no real complaints. I don't know what is wrong with paris super shuttle, but it was AWFUL. It has soured me on ever using their service again. Not that that's out of the way...I booked online ahead of time and entered in my flight information so that we (hopefully) wouldn't have to wait too long to get picked up once we arrived. The confirmation didn't mention anything about the pickup location and basically forced you to call to figure out where to go once you arrive at the airport. This is obviously difficult and annoying when you're traveling in a new country and have no phone service (or outrageous fees to make calls when roaming). In the airport itself, there are no signs or stands or anything mentioning super shuttle so basically you're on your own to figure out where to go wait. In the end, we called and after a very confusing and difficult 10 minute hold/conversation, we were told to go wait by the bus pickup spot near the roissybus and other city buses (before the rental car stands). On the phone, they confirm our pickup and say that a drive will be there in about 10 minutes so we head over to wait. We ended up waiting OVER AN HOUR and had 0 communication about the delay from the driver or super shuttle. This is the last thing you want to do after you've just been on a 10 hour flight. We called the driver TWICE and BOTH TIMES were told he'd be there in 10-15 minutes (which was a total lie). When the driver finally arrived, he was rude and didn't even apologize for the hour delay. Additionally, he ended up dropping off the other passengers before us, even though they had waited way less for their pickup. Save yourself tons of frustration and all that wasted time and just pay the extra 20 bucks for a taxi/uber. I regret using them so much. I couldn't even imagine the stress if you were using them when you've got a time crunch - I was just tired and cranky from being up all night. I will never be using super shuttle again.

The driver showed up within 5 minutes. He did go to other terminals to pick up other customers but didn't take too long. The ride was easy, not too much traffic to my hotel. The driver showed up on time (3am) for my ride to airport. Everything went smoothly. Very happy with the service!

We were recently introduced…read moreto this online international ride share service through a travel agent, and were 100% satisfied. The Uber service in London and Paris were lacking with long wait times and plenty of cancellations. The taxis were available in most cities although very expensive. During the second half of our European adventure we began using the Welcome Pickups service to provide transfers from our hotel to airport and vice versa. The transfers went seamless in Amsterdam, Barcelona, Ireland and Scotland. Each driver notified me through WhatsApp twenty-four hours prior to the pre-determined pickup location and included a photo of the vehicle, name and phone number of the driver. In addition, the driver monitored my flight progress taking into consideration of delays to prepare adjustments for pickup or drop off times. The drivers notified me upon arrival, which was always fifteen minutes early at the hotel curb or waiting in the immediate area. They introduced themselves and assisted placing all bags into their vehicle. During the comfy rides, each driver was chatty providing a brief historic education of the area. What a difference with Uber or Lyft drivers (if they actually show up) who merely get you from point A to point B with zero verbal interaction. The transfer service was approximately $50.00 per use. Tipping of course is always optional, especially in Europe, but we gave 5€ every ride. Since I never heard if this transfer service I was hesitant and a non believer thinking it would be the same as other ride share companies in the States - I admit that I was wrong. I highly recommend Welcome Pickups for long or time sensitive rides throughout Europe and will definitely use them again and promote it's A+ service to friends and family.
