Instead doctors pushed me down and made me feel bad about how I looked but with Dr. Boutros I feel a lifeline of support and a truly judgement free zone. He talks through everything with you and makes you feel like no one else is waiting in the lobby when in fact so many are. If you're tired of Doctors who don't care I suggest you get down to Prevention Clinics and be welcomed with a smile (even behind the mask) from the staff and be seen by the brilliant Doctor that is Dr. Boutros. I'm telling you. You'll medical journey and mental health will thank you.

There was a 10 minute wait even though the place was empty, so I wouldn't bet on it always being quick, but the staff seemed nice. The paperwork is effectively done is triplicate, which seems annoying. When I scheduled with this place, they asked me a bunch of questions over the phone and then when I came in, they had me fill out the same information on two different sets of forms. What was the point of asking me all those questions on the phone?

No one had informed me prior to coming in nor during check in. I was told my appt would have to be rescheduled to the following week. I was heated, in pain, and needed to get the test done ASAP so doctors could figure out what was wrong with me. There was a LOVELY supervisor by the name of Evelyn that leaped to action. She contacted nearby facilities to get me an appointment the next day. She was incredibly patient, understanding and kind. If only the young receptionist that received me that day was as nice.

The space is stunning and it is very clean. Throughout my treatment, my acupuncturist explained everything to me and went the extra mile to make me feel comfortable and relaxed. Unfortunately, I get no efficiency from the customer service of UES locations and they keep someone at the door who does not understand customer service and communication. Today, I have come to the conclusion that this business is a commercial enterprise that does not have a health purpose, since 135 $ money was withdrawn from my account under the name of "policy" for the appointment I made a forced reschedule. I do not recommend!!!!!!

Dr. Zeiger came highly recommended by a doctor at Tisch Hospital, who personally went to him when…read moreshe required PEP rabies treatment. I have no way at all of personally judging a person's medical talents, so I'm taking the other doctor's personal visit and recommendation as high medical praise. The doctor and his staff are no BS, which I think some yelp reviewers have taken as not caring, though he and his staff were perfectly polite and helpful with my requests and concerns. He begins every appointment with a consultation at a desk and then the treatment is in a different room. This strikes me as a workflow filled with care. I had ample time to ask questions and he answered them honestly. He was happy to use the phrase "I don't know" when he didn't, a phrase which some doctors don't seem to have in their lexicon. His prices are extremely reasonable. He was in network for me, but the potential out of pocket costs are accessible. Tisch Hospital charges $4,000 for a rabies shot out of pocket. He charges $400. It's rare to go to a doctor without any worry of ruinous costs. He and his staff have what I would describe as New York attitudes, by which I mean they are honest, to the point, and don't BS you. If you require an extra calming doctor who will tuck you in to bed and kiss your forehead -- I completely appreciate if you do want that -- this is probably not the doctor for you. If you don't need a forehead kiss but just want cost-conscious, informed treatment, he's your guy.

I will say, in general, I find that doctors/dentists, etc. try to upsell absolutely everything and it's quite frustrating. As consumers in America we have to be cautious and consider prices before moving forward with something. Even if someone asks, you can say no. Don't be pressured by the sales process! I was having issues with my insurance and Tend told me I could move my appointment or it will be $225 out of pocket at the time of appointment. I decided to pay upfront and hope for reimbursement afterwards, but everyone I interacted with at Tend was upfront and clear about this cost. The experience at Tend is great and super millennial. I like that the waiting room offers tables, accessible charging ports for your phone or laptop & a cute freebie bag. They take it a step above your normal dentist. I waited ~5 minutes past my appointment time and I love that they follow a schedule pretty closely. My hygienist during both visits (in June 2023 and January 2024) have both been excellent, explain everything & it's fun to watch No Reservations and have headphones while getting your treatment. The dentist can be a fearful, anxiety-inducing experience and Tend eliminates this. I will continue to go to Tend as long as my insurance includes them. Thank you!
