This is one of the many Travel Inn's found across the country as it is part of a national chain. The bedrooms are much the same as all of the others - they have the standard double bed (or twin if that is what you book), a television, telephone, a kettle, cups and complimentry tea & coffees, en-suite bathroom with bath and shower, sink and toilet.
The decor is not extravegant but more than serves it's purpose and could be called homely. The staff are fine - none overly friendly or welcoming but helpful enough if you seek them out. No room service is offered, which is one way of keeping the cost of an overnight stay low. There is a carvery restaraunt opposite which is fairly priced and serves alcohol if you fancy some dinner or even just a night cap.
In all, this place does the job it should - somewhere cheap to sleep for a night or two without any frills but that is reflected in the price of a nights stay - around £50. read more
