This charming little hotel is almost directly across from the Eastbourne Pier. I stayed here one night with my girlfriend as a small get away and it didn't disappoint. Downstairs there is a bar, a billiards table and plenty of comfy chairs to sit in. Staff were friendly and polite.
Pros: Location is great, the rooms were clean and well kept. Plenty of towels to spare and the price was right (45 quid for 2 twin beds/one night). Large window that overlooked the seafront/pier. Room included a TV with cable access.
Cons: The window did not lock, and there wasn't a windscreen or a latch, so we didn't get to open the window. The beds in the room were spring mattresses, which is a bit out of date and could have been more comfortable. The room did not include any complimentary items like soap, shampoo, or other bar soap; however, a liquid soap dispenser was attached to the wall. read more
