This facility is extremely clean, modern and the staff is very nice and super professional. This is the second year my husband and I have gotten our annual check ups here. It took us both exactly 60 minutes (with our blood withdrawn in-house) from the moment we arrived to the moment we walked out to the car. My favorite part is that if everything is OK they call you and tell you over the phone instead of wasting your time and making you make another appointment to simply get your blood work results. This facility is really nice too. Sounds too good to be true? OK, the only downfall may be you will have to park in metered parking in the near by garage. Other than that it should be fairly simple which is honestly how it should be. This is probably one of the best health clinics right now. Every time I call it takes minimum of 20 minutes for anyone to answer the phone, and that's the front desk. If you need to talk to any other department forget. I gave this office 2 chances. I first brought my daughter to see Dr. Delaney here 2 years ago after a few terrible therapists & we both loved her. At the time they let us schedule 2-3 appointments at a time so the gaps in between appointments weren't too bad. But after a couple visits that policy changed & they only allowed one visit at a time, which led to the appointments being like a month apart. So we left, more bad therapists & just gave up on therapy. Well, here we are 2 years later, & in the aftermath of Covid & deaths in the family, my daughter asked to see Dr. Delaney again. I hoped they had figured out their scheduling issues by now, but no. First, it took almost 2 weeks to get a call back & the earliest appointment was a month away, but she wanted this doctor so we persisted. Then, the week of our appointment the doctor texts me to confirm, only to give me the wrong day. Once she realizes, I confirmed for the day initially scheduled. 2 hours before the appointment they cancel on us & didn't even bother to call for almost a week to reschedule only to say now the next afternoon appointment is a month away. So, seriously, the staff & doctor are nice, but not for pediatric services.

After 3 attempts and 2 payments of $375 being cancelled, I tried reaching out over the phone once more. There is no phone number for the service allows you to speak, person-to-person, with a human being. That being said, the extra star is there because they might be alright at therapy. I would give this practice zero stars if I could…read more My daughter is a patient at Sunset Neurological & Psychiatry Group and was experiencing a reaction to her medication. So much so that she could not drive herself home from school. I picked her up and told her she needed to let her doctor know ASAP. My daugther called and was told someone would call her back. When they finally did, instead of showing concern about my daughter's reaction, the conversation quickly became about demanding payment. As a former OB/GYN nurse, I have personally worked in many medical practice where patients called with concerns about adverse reactions to medications. We would never make a patient feel like they had to pay simply to have their provider address a medication reaction. I understand that medical practices have fees and policies, but there is a huge difference between having a billing policy and treating a concerned parent like an inconvenience. The worst part, however, was Christina Alfaro, NP. Her attitude was rude, dismissive, condescending, and completely lacking in compassion. At one point, she actually told me: "The problem here is that you and your daughter do not communicate." Excuse me? My daughter was experiencing a reaction to medication, and THAT was the response I received from her healthcare provider? That statement was completely unnecessary and incredibly unprofessional. If you work in healthcare, you should know how to communicate with patients and their families without talking down to them or blaming them. And yes, I did call Ms. Alfaro an asshole. I was angry and frustrated after being spoken to in such a disrespectful and condescending manner. I shouldn't have used those words, but I also shouldn't have had to defend myself as a parent simply for advocating for my daughter. Bedside manner matters. Compassion matters. Communication matters. Being a healthcare provider is not just about writing prescriptions and collecting payment. Patients are human beings, and when they're experiencing a medication reaction, they deserve to be treated with concern and respect. Unfortunately, that is not the experience we had here. I would never recommend Christina Alfaro, NP, and I would not recommend this practice. There are far too many healthcare providers who understand that patients deserve both competent medical care and basic human decency.
