I made the mistake of using an informal service that I found online. Although the "other" cleaners worked hard, they were not thorough nor did they have initiative, follow directions well, nor did they communicate well but I went with them because they were cheap. That was a mistake. After a disappointing deep clean by the other company, I asked Molly Maid of Southwest Cook County to come out. Although more expensive, the service is well worth the cost. In October 2020, Daysie and Maria came, on time, and thoroughly deep cleaned my home hitting all of the details without me having to point them out. Everything was clean and spotless after they were done. I did not even know my stove could be that clean. I carefully went around with a critical eye when they were finished, concerned that I would find missed items as I did with the original service I used and there were none to be found. Their supervisor also went through the house, checking door jams, countertops, showers, everything, to ensure that my home was truly clean. She did find an item or two and had them take care of them. I cannot express the joy and peace of mind that they brought me and my partner. Also of note, they are great communicators. Becca, in the office, followed up to check on my experience. She is available by phone and email. They text reminders. (Although being able to text them back would be a nice addition, I will not fault them for lack of it.) If you are considering using them, they are flexible - they can exclude rooms if you are trying to get the price down. They accept check or credit cards (for small fee). They work with your schedule (my partner works overnight and goes to bed at 11AM. They were able to schedule ongoing cleanings earlier in the morning so it would be done by the time he is home and wanting to go to bed.) I highly recommend them and look forward to continued use of their service!

I decided to have her come deep clean again and then come once a month. She postponed the appointment twice because of her daughter, which I'm perfectly ok with. The third try for the appointment she called to verify and said she was on her way. I get a text an hour later stating that her GPS took her to the wrong location and she was 1.5 hours away. She canceled the appointment and said she would refund my deposit. I still have not received my deposit back and she's not responding to my texts. Don't pay her until she shows up.

Kitchen, bathroom, and floors only in rest of areas. Nothing else, nothing more. When complete, job done was good, but residue was left on floors, bathroom floor, kitchen counters, etc. of cleaning products. Entire place smelled like comet etc. I didn't complain but wasn't used to this result. Overall not bad. I then asked how much would the charge be to come back and clean interior windows and windowsill. Price I got? $350?! I asked why so much. "To finish your deep cleaning and do windows" So A) they never finished the deep cleaning, and B) now windows cost this much? I asked why this was, and the response was to clean bedroom floor and windows, wipe down doors, and clean interior of windows only would be this much. "If you don't like it, have a great day". Unbelievable. Keep in mind there's a pandemic going on. They asked me for water when they were here. No problem, I gave it. They used my cleaners, whole pack of clorox wipes (which are hard to find), several rolls of paper towels, threw away my vacuum cord ( which I had to fish out of a large garbage bag) ,and then left all trash in bags on my back porch (not even threw in garbage dumpster). I get it. They clean large homes in the suburbs, and these people probably pay hundreds of dollars for a quick dust up. But this is a competitive market, and there's a way to treat new customers. I have several businesses, and travel weekly. I am a bachelor and sure I am not the neatest in my place. But geez..this rubbed me the wrong way. Just letting you all know!

I've seen other cleaning companies go to my work place & they take about 6 people, finish in about an hour, charge an arm and a leg & I can still find dirty spots, stains, dust bunnies etc. and all that for a bad job. Hilda & Leti usually come together & do an impeccable job. They're super nice, organized, responsible & EXTREMELY clean, if there's something they can't clean they will try their best or ask first. Prices are reasonable and worth the cleaning. They do free estimates & the first cleaning is a deep clean. And I mean DEEP. Give them a shot you won't regret it!
