The hotel is connected to the Langham Place Mall on Level 4 via a shelter walkway across Shanghai Street. Langham Place is the largest shopping mall in Mong Kok. The 15-floor (+ 2 basement levels) mall with 180,000 sq ft of shopping space has over 200 shops and eateries, and direct access to the Mong Kok MTR in the basement level, making it very convenient to stay at the Cordis Hotel. I can't believe that the mall is already 21 years old. It still looks modern and funky. It has a 9-storey glass atrium that makes it look very airy with natural light during the day. There are many eateries and a food court on Level 4, plus many more restaurants and eateries dispersing throughout different levels of the mall. There is a long escalator going up from L4 to L8, and then another one from L8 to L12. There are also shorter escalators going up the floors after the long ones. The best strategy to browse the mall is to take either the escalators or elevators to the highest floor of the mall (supposed to be L15), and then work your way down by walking. It took me about 1 1/2 to 2 hours to do so. But it depends on whether you have something to shop for, or just browsing. I like to look at the cute things in the gift shops or toy stores. In my trip back in March, 2025, I purchased a Lulu the Pig disguised as Ne Zha. It was so cute and a great buy, it was on sale for HK$100 (US$13), down from HK$700 (US$90). However, the rest of the merchandises were at full price. We like the restaurants at the hotel, but have also tried different eateries in the mall. There are so many different cuisines to try. In our most recent trip in October, I noticed a big sign announcing that "Din Tai Fung is coming soon"! For a DTF fan like me, this is really great news. It is going to be close by Orchid Padaria Café (one of our favorite Cha Chaan Teng) on Level B2. I really look forward to dining in there when it opens! The Langham Place mall is an air-conditioned oasis in Mong Kok. It provides free WiFi, free parking, and long opening hours. It constantly attracts a lot of people. If you are not used to places with dense population, I suggest that you don't venture out there on Fridays, weekends, or any holidays, so that it would not be too overwhelming. Give it a try on a "slow" day first. Have fun!

From the top of the top section, you can walk down in a spiral and make your way down to the bottom of the top section.

Harbour City is a shopping complex right beside the pier overlooking Victoria Harbour and with that offers a stunning view especially in the night when the city lights come alive. Along with the customer service and a map of the mall it's pretty massive enough that we got last and couldn't find the restaurant that we intended to try though browsing around majority of the shops are high end. There's quite a bit of selections available here regardless as I enjoyed looking at a health and wellness shop and some heath and beauty items as well. A great place to eat, browse and relax or just enjoy the view Harbour City is a beautiful modern complex that offers it all. Thank you!

They have previously stocked American Apparel tank tops, Havaianas flip-flops, Matcha dessert coupon, etc., and currently showcasing a brand new fabric care experience, The Laundress. There are beauty counters, unique fashion stores, Shoespace, music and books. I usually will take a break and have a coffee at Holly Brown, while you can also grab some lunch/dinner at Simplylife. And I say I've witnessed because I have to get to United Centre and walk through Queensway Plaza (where Lab Concept is) to get to my office. So I've been to pretty much every store in there. Last shop to open there was TopShop, and I was sooo happy about it! The store in Central is quite big already but having this one downstairs was so convenient! Shame that they don't have many shoes...for that you may want to head to Shoespace though, especially during sales, where they separate the shoes in sizes and have great discounts. For beauty stores they've gathered a good number of brands: MAC, Aesop, Innisfree, Fresh (just opened!)...to name a few. They not only sell products but they also have some beauty treatments. Only problem being that it'll all opened and there's little privacy. As for the dining places you can head to Holly Brown or Starbucks for coffee, Aroma for cakes and Crystal Jade or Simplylife for lunch or dinner. A recommendation here: go to Simplylife at lunch time and order the set lunch (read my review about it). Just be aware that Queensway Plaza is pretty busy at lunch time and you will have to queue at some of the restaurants (especially Simply). Lab Concept already looks pretty amazing to me but as it kept changing over the last months I suspect some other stores will be opening here...excited!

A relatively small shop but I have to say, service is spectacular…read more I bought a pair of khakis at this shop but needed some alteration done (free of charge). A few days later I went to pick it up. When I went to the floor where I shopped for my pants, the lady there told me that pick up is at the lower level. As I walked down the stairs, she spoke into her walkie to let her coworker know, so as soon as I descended, someone walked up to me to help me, knowing exactly what I need. That's so cool! No need to go hunting down someone and explaining all over what I need. Then, when I received the pants, I told them to just put it in my shopping bag (to save a bag) and the girl said with a cheerful smile, "Thank you so much for protecting the environment!" Wow, never had saving a bag feels so good!

But on the upside, there are a few new shops that opened, e.g. a Korean restaurant that I will for sure try out on my next visit, they are still very pet friendly and most restaurants and shops welcome our furry friends! Okay mom, it's their country and their culture, so relax. God will meet them where they are when it's time. Clean restrooms and very modern. I'd love to come back and visit again because they had a beverage place that serves drinks in a coconut husk, which is what mom really wanted to try. They also have a cool pub like place and I was wanting some wings. The only down side I'd see for locals is having to work their way around all the tour buses that pull up here and take up some road, but for me, it was fun.
