I have had the worst experience today as a paying customer. I brought my beloved dog to Susie Q's…read moretoday, we have used her for almost 5 years, before now my wife had brought our dog to Susie and Susie had my wife's phone number from previous grooming appointments. Today i brought my dog to her establishment at 3:30, i told her i really appreciated it her grooming my dog because my wife and daughter has been in Florida all week ( i was unable to go, due to work, which i hated) and they would be coming back tomorrow and i wanted to surprise them with my dog being groomed, she said she could work my dog in but " she hoped i wasn't in a rush because it could take a while". Before leaving her store i filled out a card with my cell phone number and my home phone number so she could reach me when she was done with the grooming .Between 3:30 and 6:45 i didn't receive any calls (missed or taken) By 6: 45 i called her to check on my dog, she answered and proceeded to yell and treat me like a "dog", she screamed that she had called me 5 times and had things to do , i told her i have not missed any calls and that i have been waiting on her to call me so i could pick up my dog. She screamed that she had missed her dinner arrangements, i told her again that i was sorry about that but i didn't miss any calls from her. She yelled " it will be $50 cash" $50 cash...almost like she was holding my dog ransom...that sounds weird, but that's what it seemed like at the time. I went to pick up my dog ( which only took 3 minutes from my house). When i got there i paid her the"$50 cash" and i tried to tell her again that i didn't miss any calls from her and that i was sorry that she missed her dinner arrangement..( me the customer saying sorry!!), at this point she stopped screaming at me but was very rude all the same. With my wife, daughter and in-laws being in Florida and on vacation and there last night there. My wife calls me tonight worried about Annie ( our dog) because she missed 8 calls and had 5 nasty messages from Susie. The messages Susie left her were as harsh and as rude as Susie had talked to me to. I told my wife that i didn't miss any calls from Susie. So This whole time, instead of Susie calling me to pick up my dog she had called my wife's number. My wife was 13 hours away. This is the reason i am writing this review. Susie stated today that i had ruined her dinner arrangements tonight, but in all honesty since she called!! the wrong number for me to pick up my dog from grooming she ended up ruining my family's last night on vacation with her loud, rude nasty calls to my wife's cell phone. I was very nice to Susie today while she was treating me like a dog ,but now i think about it, it really upsets me. I was up-charged from her normal fee, humiliated, and had upset my family on vacation, because like i said earlier i wanted to surprise my wife with Annie being groomed and she had no idea what Susie was screaming about on her voice mail. My suggestion, if anyone wants to be treated with respect and to know that your dog is being loved, i would highly recommend NOT to use Susie Q's In Albertville. I wouldn't wish this horrible experience on my worst enemy's.

This vet and its staff are responsible for euthanizing at least 30 healthy, if not more, dogs of…read morethe Humane Society from Gadsden, AL, at the request of Director John Crane and using a van to transport these animals that is supposed to be used for rescue. Other vets in the local area have refused to euthanize these healthy animals and more dogs are slated to be euthanized this coming week. Please let the new vet that took Dr. Creel's place know that this is not acceptable to the animal lovers that bring their animals to this Animal Hospital for care.

Grateful to them for their work with the dogs and 2nd Chance Animal Shelter. They help ensure each…read moredog is properly vetted, spayed/neutered, had whatever treatments, surgeries, etc. to give them the best chance possible in their (future) new home. If it weren't for them, hundreds of dogs might not have had the love and lives they now have and/or will have in the future. They were helpful when ordering refills on heartworm and flea meds for our dogs we adopted from 2nd Chance. We are grateful for them.
