I can't say enough about how this place treats you like first class. Not only are they polite they always have a smile and ask you as many questions to get to know your pup. I called my vets emergency number and they told me they could refer me to emergency services in Decatur or Huntsville. I said Decatur because it was closer. I called them immediately, told them what was going on and asked if they could try to make her throw them yup. They said yes, so off we went. We got there close to 2 am. Everyone from the front end staff to the vet were great. Very caring, explained everything well, and gave me options along with estimated costs for each so I could make informed decisions. They got her to vomit, but not much came up and they could still see a lot of debris in her stomach. They suggested keeping her overnight and trying to flush everything through. They said if that did not work, surgery would be the next option. They called me Sunday morning and said the debris had not moved and felt surgery was needed so I gave the okay. Surgery went well and she is back to being my happy and healthy girl. I am very thankful they were there when my other vet was closed and saved my girl.

Even though cats are good at masking pain, he was completely fine. Mentally I know him cuz I raised him from 3 weeks when his mother admitted him. They killed him. I mean they asked on the phone but I didn't know what all from it. I'd never brought an animal. Went to the back before and had him put to sleep. So how was I still so they didn't say it and straight out plain English put to sleep instead of some weird word like ultra. If she would have told us to turn around so she could talk to us so she could explain to me specifically why she wanted to put her to sleep. It would have been better for me. Would have been better for her and I wouldn't be writing this bad review. I don't blame her. I blame Michelle. It's my fault I took green to Lee's veterinarian so therefore it is my fault. I understand. I've read everything there is to read about the damage that could have been. There might not have been a possible way saver's life but I shouldn't have had to read it. She should have explained it to me. She acted like she didn't even want us to come back to the vet. She even sent a link to my dad's cell phone so he could pay the bill without having to come back. Honestly such great experiences here…read more We attempted to adopt a dog before but she just wasn't a fit for our family and they made it a super simple process so she could be re-adopted (like same day basically too!) Also had animal control help us with our stray cat situation. They came within the hour to come and snag an emaciated kitty that we were able to capture for them. Very fun to just visit too and see all the dogs and cats available. I do wish they could do foster programs though!!!

I had a stray dog with severe mange and missing most of his hair. They had taken skin scrapings and tested them to find out what kind of mange. Gave him some meds to take and a month or so later his hair had finally started growing back in. Years later and i still have the dog. My dad took his doberman up there for many years for various reasons till it finally passed away of old age. Personally, im not thrilled at the prices they charge. But in all fairness i haven't shopped around other vets for better prices. That aside they do seem to know what they are doing. I would reccommend them.
