I chose a pre-paid option to save a few bucks (about $220 for two nights), and the stay was charged about a month in advance. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a very friendly staff member. She checked us in and gave us an overview of the common area which was adjacent to the front desk. Our room was located on the first floor, but thankfully away from the lobby. Once in the room it was quiet and private. A large bed dominated the living area. The room had a closet for hanging clothes as well as a safe. The bathroom was divided in two: vanity and sink near the living area and the toilet and shower behind the door. The shower was quite spacious and the water pressure was fantastic. There were environmentally friendly shampoo/conditioner/body wash included. Wifi was available in the room as well as the common area. Breakfast had a wide variety of options, including meats and cheeses, fruit, pastries, toast, and juices. Breakfast was a great start to the day of exploring that lay ahead. The location was quite convenient. A subway stop (Bellas Artes) was a block away. You were also a short walk to the Lastarria neighborhood, where a number of restaurants and bars await you. Additionally, you could walk over to the Bellavista neighborhood within 15 minutes to have another wide selection of restaurants and bars. A perfect location for exploring Santiago as a tourist. The price we got was quite fair given the amenities of the hotel. I'd highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking to visit Santiago.

This literally saves you two whole metro stops and really makes the difference if you are running late to work like I always am. The inside of the station is also super simple. You can pull money out at the ATM machines located inside and charge your BIP (metro card) with either cash at the counter or through the automatic machines.

Only downside was, there is no AC and it can get hot, but rooms cool down at night, and bugs are not an issue. The owners and staff are great, speak English, and are very helpful in arranging things such as travel to airport, and directions. The place itself is on a quiet leafy street, that is a very short walk to busy Ave Providencia, where you can get on several red line metro stops. The area itself is very nice, pleasant and safe. many many cafes, bars and restaurants with outdoor tables. There are two sections to this B&B: ideally you want the B section with private bathrooms. Failing that, the shared bathrooms in the A section are nice, if small, but clean and well maintained. Breakfast is served in a small dining room, though outside on the terrace is more pleasant. Decent coffee (hard to find in Chile!), fruit, juice, rolls, cereal, and ham and cheese are your options. The price is, by Santiago standards, alsot absurdly low. Will definitely stay here again.

All staff members were ready to give directions and assist us in finding places to eat. We spent 2 nights here. We were very happy that the staff allowed us to have breakfast when we arrived at 8AM after 14 hours of traveling. The breakfast was simple but we were so grateful for the toast, cookies, ham, cheese and coffee. We were not able to check in until later that that day, but the staff allowed us to store our bags at the hotel so that we could explore Santiago a bit. The rooms were small, but very clean. The AC units were a little wonky and took a long time to cool the spaces, but overall only a minor complaint. We had a wonderful time during our stay!

The room was a little stale and stuffy when I arrived but this cleared up within a half hour. The hotel is in the middle of a residential neighborhood that is not close to the Metro system. There are buses that run past but I haven't tried to figure that out yet. There is also a gas station / convenience store next door if you want to get snacks that are a little cheaper than the hotel's market. The room is quite spacious, even for someone who has no Hyatt status and did not get an upgrade. Work desk, mini fridge, free wifi that worked well enough, safe, armoire and a large corner sofa with a flip-out convertible bed as well as the rather firm king bed. Plenty of outlets and all accepted US power adapters and Chilean. I did not need my international adapter. Breakfast is good with a large selection of cereals, cold cuts, pastries, breads and toaster, coffee, fruits, yogurt and such. A hot pot of scrambled eggs is on the buffet with sausages and more. Nice stuff and laid out well enough despite the crowded dining room where four staffers were working hard to keep tables cleaned and clear dirty dishes. There are restaurants and shopping but it's about a quarter mile away. I found a shopping center and several higher end restaurants including a very good steakhouse. Thank you, Yelp. I felt safe enough walking alone after dark, but YMMV.

It's not like your typical American airports where shuttles pass by and you wait on the curb. Instead they keep it a secret when you book your reservation that the pickup place is some random parking stall in the garage. So strange. So we get to the unmarked stall (C22) and we are waiting with like 10 other people. The van comes and the driver said he can only fit 6 people, and he has a list of people who made a reservation for the shuttle. How the heck are you supposed to know to sign up for a spot on the shuttle?? So we try to ask him if we can put our names on the list for the next shuttle and he just like waves us away and is kind of rude. He said he'll be back in 50 minutes... or 15... he never clarified even though we asked. He comes back in about 20 minutes and takes the rest of us to the hotel. It was definitely a wild ride to the hotel... The hotel isn't that far from the airport, but you can't walk... We finally get into our room and it's nice enough. The shower was hot and the water pressure was great. The AC was easy to turn on and we figured out the lights.
