The worst transit service I have ever had the displeasure of using. Bus was 30 MINUTES LATE while it was absolutely freezing outside. I was late for my class. I don't understand why they even have a schedule when they never follow it. Buses are either early or ridiculously late, it feels impossible to get anywhere on time. Drivers are nice but clueless. They will completely miss/skip stops and drive right by people waiting to be picked up. Almost $4 a ride is highway robbery. read more

I had already waited 30 because I made sure I was there before the bus was supposed to be there. The drivers give 0 care in the world for others. I can't imagine a worse run organization. Pickup/arrival times are not close to projected times and scheduled times are skipped with no warning. The Detroit/tunnel bus has no consistency and missed busses are often. It is an embarrassment on the city of Windsor. read more

The ticket ladies were nice. $5 to get you back into Detroit from Windsor - one way. The station was nice and clean. Our driver was fantastic. My companion and I were the last to clear customs and he directed us back on the bus. We told him where we wanted to go and he dropped us at a stop and directed us where to go. This will be my go to way in/out of Windsor the next time I wanna eat a Poutine! read more

Today i mistakenly took 7 Westbound instead of 7 eastbound which was the last bus of the evening and i was so tensed how wouldi manage going home because when i realised i took wrong bus it was too late . But, fortunately JIM who was driving the bus was so so nice and helpful .He made me calm and assisted me every humbly to reach my destiny. He didnt drop me there to wait for hours to reach my home instead he took the initiative and he managed to take me along while it was not his responsiblility but he genuinely helped me and drop me safely to the destination. I am very thankful to JIM who helped me alot usually no one do that but you did. Thank you sooo much. I hope you keep up the good work of helping others like you did for me. read more

Horrible service. Horrible service. In addition to the horrible service, it also hires very ignorant bus drivers, so that's a double hit - and that ain't good. With a city the population that Windsor has, this is a horrible service and route system. Waiting for over an hour for a bus and then having them quit on Sundays early or not even operate makes this a very useless business model. Their routes must be design with newborns holding crayons, because the route plan is all over and very poorly laid out. It's waste plenty of time to get around and with the ill designed and timed schedule -going a matter of 10 kilometers away could take as long as 2 hours - if not more. This system needs a serious overhaul from the very beginning. Once it has been redesigned with a real thought pattern placed behind it, and a proper function to it - then and only then will this system of transit be remotely functional for the city of Windsor. Until then it's useless and costly for those who require it for daily use or for travelers like me who are in town on business and use it only for occasional use. Once again, this is horrible service and the management should be ashamed of themselves to even earn a paycheck from the dreaded operation that they deem worthy to receive money for when their combined talents can't come together to design something more function for a very small city and the communities surrounding it. read more

We used tunnel bus to go to Little Caesar's Arena and back to our hotel in Windsor. $10 round trip is a good value. Not having to park or worry about driving was convenient. Considering if I had driven it would have cost about the same with tolls is interesting. Customs check in was quick even though the bus was packed. It gets crowded so expect a little extra wait time after show but still I think overall I prefer it to driving to an event. read more

The Tunnel Bus is a quick and easy option to get from Windsor to/from Detroit without the hassle of renting a car or taking an expensive cab ride. $3.75 fare will bring you from the Windsor International Transit Terminal (um, fancy phrase for Bus Station) into downtown Detroit (10 stops, including Joe Louis Arena, so you'll be somewhat close to where you need to go). Between Canada and US, you'll need to go through Customs so have your passport ready. But the folks working know what they're doing so they'll speed you right through while the bus waits for you. And if you're lucky, maybe you'll get on Ed's bus and he'll entertain you with life stories. Maybe, if you have the time, you'll decide to forego your stop and instead stay on the bus while it loops the city so that you can keep chatting with him. If that's the case, tell him the two crazy Californian kids say Hi and Go Sharks! read more

Poor customer service, to my wife being insulted by the employee and supervisor with inappropriate comments and language. Would not recommend using the tunnel bus, I would rather pay toll, parking then to deal with the headache of Transit Windsor. My wife went to purchase two round trip as I was parking, they charged her for four. When she asked to have it corrected the teller with the bullring nose piercing said it's not her problem and figure it out. The older red haired supervisor was no help and even worse, when asked who the tellers name was, he tells my wife it's not his fault she's to stupid to not know that the price wasn't right and if she didn't shut up and get on the bus he would have us arrested and banned from Transit Windsor. It's pretty sad that the city allows this standard of customer service. read more

Most inconsistent service and connecting bus don't wait and cause inconvenience for most of the people

I understand that a bus may run a few minutes behind schedule, but when it doesn't show up 25 minutes after it's scheduled AND it's 27 degreees out, I'm done waiting. Very disappointed that we didn't get to go to Canada as this was our only day to do so before heading home. read more

The only reason this gets 3 stars is because the buses work and function like a bus. Everything else about transit Windsor is garbage. About half of the drivers are nice, the other half have given up on the world and are cold and just down right mean. Buses arrive on time USUALLY--never a guarantee. Furthermore, only one or two buses operate during late night hours and only go east and west, so if you need to go south, well, you're stuck with the cabs. On multiple occasions I've also had busses just drive by me, despite me standing at the stop. I've also just arrived at the terminal and walked towards the bus of my connection only to have the driver close their doors and drive away despite noticing that a new bus has arrived with people who may want to get on this new bus. Prices have steadily climbed over the years as well. Windsor transit is garbage and if you can avoid using them please do. read more
