Instead of listening and trying to resolve the issue, she became argumentative and spoke to me in an aggressive tone. As a paying customer, I expected at least a basic level of respect and customer service, but that was clearly lacking. The situation escalated to the point where I felt the need to contact a manager at a completely different location to report what had happened. I did not feel comfortable continuing the conversation at the original location due to the aggressive behavior I experienced. While the manager at the other location was more professional and willing to listen, the situation should have never reached that point. Overall, the attitude and behavior displayed especially by someone in a management position was unacceptable. I will not be returning and would not recommend this location to others based on this experience.

So, I called Reveal Spa to see if they had any availability. They did that afternoon and I headed to Edgewater a few hours later. I only got a little lost, but when I called the salon to see where they were located, I realized that I had driven past it three times! Tip: It's on the north side after you turn west on 25th, it's like the second or third business. I went in and was greeted by the lady I spoke to on the phone, whom I found out is named Ashley. It was a bit on the small side, but I've always thought less it more sometimes when it comes to salons and I liked the look of the place. Ashley seemed to be the only one working, but since I was also the only customer at the time, I quite enjoyed the feeling of privacy. Ashley led me into the back waxing room and asked me what I was looking for when it came to my eyebrows. I told her that I wasn't too picky, I just needed them shaped. She agreed that they weren't completely out of control and she would do her best to make them look nice. Ashley took a little longer then most estheticians do and that made me nervous, especially considering she just agreed I didn't need much waxing. Boy, was I in for a surprise when I saw the greatest eyebrows I've ever had. All my anxiety flew out the window when I looked into the handheld mirror and saw perfection in an eyebrow. I'm so glad that she took the extra time because this was the one and only instance where I didn't have to go home right away and correct any strays the esthetician left. I was so elated! Of course, the underarm waxing went very smooth as well and I was very happy with the results. It was practically painless and I left with a feeling of complete bliss in knowing that the work was done right and I wouldn't have to worry that night about any mistakes I may not have noticed right away. Ashley was also very sweet and we ended up having a great conversation while I was there. It didn't feel forced or overdone, just the right amount of talk to get through the appointment smoothly. I have gotten my eyebrows waxed since then and still haven't had the amazing eyebrows that I left with that afternoon. I think I might have to just go ahead and call Ashley again if I want real eyebrow perfection.

She's quick and efficient while being thorough which is precisely what you want when someone is ripping hair from your body. I couldn't even get a fill... because of their initial bad job... I went in asking is it possible to take it off and put a new set on next week because obviously they look like shit and there was a ton of dirt under my nails since they were put on incorrect. No explanation, not grinding them off men that I would have bending backwards nails that I can't work with. Both the women who spoke English well and the woman who didn't as well clearly ignored what I was saying and just wanted to see me in pain. I explained that I needed to have my nails done next week for a wedding.. they said that's fine and then by the end of taking my nails off I said wow my nails are extremely thin how am I gonna put another set on this and now the answer changed to I cannot get my nails done again until they are completely grown out in 3 to 6 months... LOL meanwhile, I also said that I work on a nursery and have to use my hands daily... if this woman was smarter or cared at all about her customers, she would understand and perhaps use one brain cell to tell me not to do this.
