I get bored and like to spice up my hair...I rarely do the same thing twice. THey always help me pick out my colors and have suggestions on how to change the cut. They even cut my son's hair (he won't let anyone but Michele cut his hair...) so even now I have to head all the way to the UP to get his hair cut!!! I've been to a lot of stylists...but ya'll make me very happy :) That's why I keep coming back. Hey Sarah N, maybe you should try contacting Salon by Michelle and give them a chance to make it up to you...i can't picture them intentionally being rude or giving you a bad hair cut and then charging you more to fix it. Michelle had no interest in me being there whatsoever. Maybe she doesn't like college kids or was just having a bad day, but the only "personal" thing she actually said to me was "Your hair color looks really bad on you." Thanks Michelle. She offered no suggestions, just told me I looked like shit and left it at that. Along with her compliments, she also managed to destroy my hair. I asked for a small trim of just an inch off and while she was bitching to her co-worker about other clients, she must've lost track of what she was doing because she cut about four inches off one side and angled it down to about an inch off the other side. It was a pretty jagged angle, too. After leaving I realized how horrible it was and stopped back in the next day to see if they could fix it. They told me they could - for another 20 bucks. I refused and brought my sorry ass to Walmart where I paid $13 to get it level enough to look decent. Unless you like your stylists having a complete disregard for what you want, I would highly suggest going somewhere else before you go here.

The stylist made me feel very bad about being there and she went on to lecture me that she was booked "way out" and did not "squeeze" people in. I don't think I have ever asked to be squeezed in. When I left, I gave her a good tip (I don't know why) because she wouldn't even comment or offer suggestions for a future color for my hair. I won't be back again because I felt very bad about the whole thing....1) the lact of communication for the person who scheduled me, 2) the unfriendly attitude of the person styling my hair, and 3) undeservedly lecturing me.
