It has been a few weeks since moving to Lexington, and I had a hard time finding a place to get my facial treatment since I am particularly picky regarding skin care. Yesterday was my last day off for the week. My acne has worsened these past few weeks, so I invested time in looking at local establishments that offer facial treatments and those with plenty of positive reviews from their clients. My only way of knowing a place that's good is based on their reviews...really. This shop caught my attention, from its great reviews from their clients and its catchy name. I call myself a wanderlust(er). It was a sign from the universe (lol) that I needed to book an appointment for acne treatment at this place. And so I did! I chose acne boot camp treatment with Madi. Before this appointment, I had never had treatment specifically targeting acne. I had several sessions of microdermabrasion before, which were so great for my skin overall. I was ready to get my facial treatment done (I like to pamper myself once in a while) Madi was knowledgeable throughout the session and asked pertinent questions about my skincare, products and things that caused acne! I thoroughly enjoyed my almost-hour session with her, and she sent me a list of things to avoid to prevent further irritation to my sensitive skin. She also sent some samples of products that she thinks might work for my skin and helps with the breakouts. I am setting up another appointment with Madi for my acne peel treatment in 2-3 weeks, and I can not wait! I highly recommend this place for its services--top-notch! I would say. Fizz specializes in quick bar facials, designed to get you in and out in about half an hour. The estheticians are super friendly, knowledgeable and do a great job loving on your skin.
