This company continuously charged me, monthly, for work that was never done. I was very patient,…read morefrom March until July. I emailed the owner explaining how disappointed I was in him for taking my money and not providing the service. He ignored me and I never heard back and he never refunded any of my "stolen" money. His greed and rudeness is astonishing. Sweet as can be until he signs you up. After I fired him, I heard from many other people in the area that had major complaints about him as well. I definitely do not recommend this "company".

I was not home at this time and understood that it may be more. I got an updated bill after the service had been there less than 2 hours. However, when I got home I was so upset because minimal to no work had been done. I immediately called the owner with pictures where he agreed that his people did not do their job. He did offer to send his workers back 6 days later. I was no longer comfortable having his company at my house. He demanded I pay even though he agreed in writing to the poor job. I am writing this review to encourage you not to use this company or at least be home to make sure they job. Please look at other lawn services as there are so many.

Sparta provided lawn services on our lawn 23 April. They were very responsive on initial contact…read moreand came out quickly to provide an estimate. The recommendation by Colt was to do a liquid aeration, topsoil, Pete Moss, over-seeding, palm tree trimming, bush trimming and one time lawn cut. Total for all work was $3783.00. Work was completed in one day, but I had to call them back to due some fine tuning. Everything look good after the first two trips. HOWEVER It is now 21 June and I have been unable to get Sparta back out to address some areas. Over the last several weeks I have sent three emails, sent a message through the Sparta Website and have made several calls to the office with no follow up. During the initial consultation I pointed out areas that were retaining water. The answer was to fill the areas with soil and pete moss. Those areas are still retaining water. As of today we have areas in the yard where the overseeding did not work and grass is not growing. The Sparta Website states, "WE CARE, SERVE, AND PROMISE! So much so that if at any time, for any reason, you are unhappy with our service, simply let us know, and we will come fix it no questions asked. I have done my best to contact them and get the problem areas resolved. I am very patient and understanding but I would not recommend Sparta. They do not stand by their promise. Antonio Marsh
