Got here around 1 on a Thursday afternoon and it was quite although it slightly picked up by the time I was done. Spacious and mostly indoor seating. Ordered a Spicy Kebab and a lamb shish kebab for take away. Started with the Lavas bread freshly made in the wood fire oven. So light, hollow ballon resemblance and hot, paired perfectly with the delicious Haydari (yogurt sauce.) The spicy kebab (the most popular for the Turkish as my server shared) was similar to one that I had in Bodrum. Perfectly grilled, tender beef and spiced just right-seasoned and not really spicy. The Lamb shish kebab was also very tender and just right grilled. Loved the rice that came with the order. Paired it all with an Efes-local Pilsner Beer-crisp, cold and tasty. Service was attentive and upbeat. Make the short walk to this spot for some authentic, local deliciousness!

WHAT IS THIS PLACE?…read more Prices are so over the top; menu is tabbed out at Italian, India, Mexican, and Chinese; the Chinese plates I ordered tasted nothing remotely like Chinese dishes; the cocktails were soooo strong I nearly choked on my pina colada; the Elvis impersonator was embarrassing but quality entertainment; the waitstaff are like surrealist actors, patrons averaging the ripe age of 57; I just... I can't even explain it. Despite all that, I loved it. A hilarious place I can't believe exists. Also, you should definitely watch the Turkish folk dances night. It's on Thursdays. Open until 3am!

For appetizers we ordered the mussels and the choban salad, they also bring you bread with deep. Watch out as they are both spicy, especially the red one! For entrees we ordered the grilled fish, shrimp and mixed grill. We were happy with the fish and shrimp plates, but not with the mixed grill which had different types of meat. Also the portion size wasn't satisfactory for the price (80TL). At the end they brought us a complementary fruit plate with watermelon and cantaloupe. Overall we enjoyed the view and the fish, the mixed grill not so much. Finally this is super pricy for Turkey, the prices are close to US. Also some items in the menu do not have a price they rather say by the kg, so you should ask to avoid surprises at the end, for example lobster was 100 euros!
