Wasn't sure exactly what to get. They had menus with English descriptions, as well as one with photographs. The folks working were all very nice and the place seemed clean. I ended up with spicy kebab. The brought us out a huge pita type bread first with some butter. My food was okay, my son seemed to like his. Originally we were looking for another restaurant that was highly rated however couldn't find it and stumbled across Erzincan. We're glad we did. The brothers than own and run the restaurant are very nice. They spoke English and provided excellent service. The food was equally as good. The chicken kababs were amazing and very reasonably priced even for a touristy area. The local beer was ice cold. The restaurant was very clean. Found this place by looking through Yelp and Tripadvisor. It was super easy to locate through the Old City Bazaar streets of Kusadasi. We decided to go with their specialty, the Testi Kebab, which is tasty meats and vegetables cooked in a sealed clay jug. We highly recommend it! Be prepared to wait about 1hr (sometimes a bit less) for them to prepare it. Munching on their warm bread and mezze makes the wait extremely enjoyable. ;) read more

We search online and came here for dinner. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The food was delicious and the service, outstanding. We started with a the mezze plate and it arrived accompanied by a basket of beautiful warm puffed flatbread. Perfect for dipping and scooping the tasty mezze. Surely nice modern local turkish experience. We ordered the fresh bread and mixed grill plate and shared. We we equally satisfied and finished our plates. Just went to the restaurant for lunch on 10.25.2018 - the service is wonderful and the kebabs are very good. The hummus is a little flavorless (possibly because it's out of season). The testi kebab special (clay pot meal) is okay, not as flavorful as the regular grilled kebabs in our opinion. It's pretty similar to testi kababs elsewhere, which is okay once for the show but taste wise stick to the regular kabobs. The yogurt with garlic and cucumber is great, and ask for the thicker bread rather than the hot air filled one you normally get. read more

We came to Turkey to eat and shop and we are beyond happy with our choice to eat here. Before we ended up here we asked a few of the locals where to eat and all of them sent us here. So glad they did. We got the family style mixed grill plate. It came with a good mix of beef, lamb, chicken, rice and more. It was really good. My friend and I had for an appetizer the fried calamari which was very fresh tasting. We then both had the house special, kebab in a pot, which was great comfort food. While the food was good, the charm of this place was the service and the friendlyness of the staff. Our waiter was very welcoming and made us feel at home. I've been in Turkey for 3 weeks now and this is by far my favorite restaurant. First and foremost their staff are very friendly and courteous. Everyone I dealt with knew how to speak some English and their menu was also in English so that's a big convenience for me. Their speciality meal came in a jug which was stuffed with pieces of meat/chicken and veggies then put inside an oven and cooked to perfection. After it was done they bought it to our table and opened it in front of us. The meat was well cooked and melted like butter. The sauce was delicious but it had a little too much pepper for my taste. Our waiter, Hiyazi, was very attentive and extremely patient as we struggled with food choices. Later in the day, as we wandered the streets, we couldn't find a trash bin to dispose of our ice cream cups. Hiyazi recognized us and took our trash to throw away.
