DO NOT COME HERE FOR IMMIGRATION WORK or ADVICE! To start off, have not had a great experience with Mina. My parents met up with Mina in Vietnam in 2019. They talked and she said that she would be able to get them to USA via EB3 visa. She said it would cost them $25,000 and they paid her cash up front. After she took the money she was no where to be found. We tried calling her and emailing her multiple times with an answer. In 2021, we finally was able to get a hold of her and she said she would refund the $25,000 and to give her a few months as she just moved to a new office. Fast forward to 2023, she is no where to be found. Again tried to contact here multiple time via email and phone. If you're looking to getting some sort of immigration work done go find a trustworthy attorney. She will say she can help and then you pay the fees and you will be ghosted. read more

Well, where do we begin? Maybe a slew of bad experiences with Mina will shut her firm down one of these days because that's exactly what needs to happen! We were recommended to go with her when it came down to petitioning permanent residency for my wife back in September 2020. She seemed friendly at first, told us that she would assist and walk through the whole case with us. Long story short, she held onto all the important documents, never sent any important documents to USCIS, delayed our case multiple times, and ultimately, we were pissed with the way she handled her case. We received RFE request for evidence from USCIS but Mina failed to tell us, so we had to get the RFE from our local congressmen -- when we asked Mina about this, she blamed everything on COVID. We have emailed Mina multiple times but she failed to reply--we have evidence of this if anyone wants to see. This whole process should've taken at most 8 months, however thanks to Mina, nothing got done, and we forced her give us our money back for the failed job that she did. We went with another lawyer by the name of Jose A Hernandez, in the city of Orange, who was MUCH better, got us out of this mess and my wife was able to successfully able to obtain her GC within no time. In addition, Mina asked my wife to get the medical exam done -- we asked Mina if she received it -- she said she did, and guess what, she never sent it off to USCIS. We had to re-do the whole medical exam--which ultimately cost us nearly $1000 for both. What's even a better joke? She asked us to write a POSITIVE review, after she couldn't get her work done. I'll be happy to share this for anyone who wants to see! Although she did express that she had some personal family issues, I'm sorry but those family issues SHOULD NOT affect the client in any way. Maybe she should've stop practicing law and put family first, but don't take two things at once--take care of your family member and take on a new client and not be able to finish off the job. We hired Tran Law Group to help us with our case in Jan 2018 and it is a stressful experience for us. First, one of the forms was filed using an outdated form. So the attorney had to resubmit the form. Second, USCIS mailed us a letter saying the payment amount was incorrect and we again contacted Tran Law Group to correct the issue and submit it again to USCIS. Third, the attorney that take care of our case left the firm and Tran Law Group did not notify us until we asked if the attorney still working for the firm (after multiple emails without response). We were told it would take about 3 months to process I-765 application. It was over 3 months and we emailed the attorney asking for update on the status of the application. No response. A few more emails to the attorney, again no response. We then emailed the legal assistant and was told the attorney is no longer with the firm and another attorney is taking care of our case. The legal assitant then told us it takes longer to process the application without letting us know how much longer should we wait. Another month went by, we emailed Tran Law Group and like always no response. We sent out a second email and the legal assitant said someone with give us an update on our case within a week and suggest we could contact the new attorney that handle our case directly. We emailed the new attorney and again no response. It becomes a hassle for us to keep contacting Tran Law Group to get update on our case. If you expect an attorney to give you update on your case, then we would definitely not recommend Tran Law Group because of their lack of communication. read more

I needed help for a K1 visa. My emails don't get reply and when they do its always with a different answer opposite to the last. Takes them about a month to respond if any. The VM are full, they moved and never notify the Immigration office and my package denied and was sent to my address after immigration mailed it twice to a vacant office singe August! It wasted almost 5 month worth of valuable time and sensitive information. When according to her the case was going okay! They don't even know whats going on with the case. This is an awful law office! After holding our papers and promising to process the case for over one year, finally we got our papers back without anything done because of this irresponsive lawyers! I would first like to thank Mina and Lorena for being patient, kind, and very understanding in our situation as it was not an easy one. When we presented the case to another Attorney, we were told it was going to be very difficult and wanted us to pay money just to get info but not start an actual case. I went to Attorney Mina Tran 18 months ago to see if she could assist me in my permanent residence card as my previous attorney was not returning calls or emails and when he did would just tell me to wait as the process takes a long time. It was 10 years since I was approved to obtain my GC. The whole process from when we filed our paperwork to obtaining an interview was from December 2016 to August, so we're talking 8 months. First off let me start by saying that I feel completely ripped off by this law firm. I paid them over $6000 to represent me and they dropped my case out of nowhere. When we first hired them I was in a detention center, the lawyer they assigned to me did a good job and got me bail. I was comfortable with her representing me. The problem was she left the firm and no one ever notified me. I would email her and no response, until one day I called and they told me I had a new lawyer. Claudia, my new attorney, was very rude. She would constantly put me down when we would meet, and would lie about deadlines. It was either she would wait last minute to ask for money for applications, or would lie and say I had to do it that week when in reality I had months. My case is nearing the end, out of nowhere we get a letter saying they are short staffed and cant represent me. They would not give me my file unless I signed and said I was dropping them. Do not trust them with immigration cases. They will take your money and leave you with no assistance. read more
