Bonjourno!! It was our first official day in Italy yesterday and like all good tourists we spent…read morethe evening discovering Rome. We were extremely jet lagged and exhausted and ready to see our bed when we stopped by il Cornettone at 2am. We quickly learned that they open late (around 10pm) and stay open all night making the most delicious croissants. The place was packed and definitely for good reason. We had the plain Nutella croissant and my oh my was it ever delicious. The croissant was flaky and dusted with some icing sugar. It had a pleasant lemony flavour and then came the Nutella. Needless to say we enjoyed every last bite. The bakery had an array of parties to choose from including croissants, sandwiches and some pastries I was too tired to learn the name of. This is definitely a place you want to stop by with a big appetite :)
