The basics are first practiced in a parking lot and move to the roads and situations that exist in the student's neighborhood. By the third lesson and sometimes sooner, they are exposed to interstate driving techniques. When the student desires additional lessons, the instructor identifies and practice the skills necessary for the student to feel safe and to make the parent feel safe while the student is driving before their get their driver's lesson. When it comes to taking the driver's test, Maxwell will review issues like parallel parking, so the student can pass the test. As some family vehicles have driving assist features, the student will not be allowed to take the test in the family vehicle.
