The class is very small but it allows for individual attention from the teacher. I consider myself to be in decent shape but there were some things in this class I could barely do! I mean that in a good way the class was great and definitely an intense workout, I was sore for almost 5 days afterwards. The classes are a bit pricey but I think it is worth it since the classes are so small.

First this gym is 24 hours, so props to that. Second, it has 2 floors, a ground floor for mostly cardio and the lower level for weight training and a crossfit/functional weight area. The price is reasonable too, but the sign-up process is pretty tedious. Because the facility is so automated, so have to enter a code to get someone to show you around the place. There's a couple of kiosks available to sign up, but I recommend just signing up via the website if possible. I didn't understand how to get into the place until I had it explained to me, since I come from the US, where they have no such automated door system in place. Apparently you enter in a code, press the OK button, and you step inside the pod, and the other side will open when the first side closes. In addition to being more automated, it also reduces the airflow from the outside, which I presume indirectly saves them air conditioning and heating, though the airflow actually might be a drawback when you go downstairs to do barbell / free weight training, because it kind of smells slightly. On the whole, considering it's in London, and the alternatives are simultaneously more expensive and smaller, this is actually a good deal. But even though the weights are re-racked (which doesn't happen all the time stateside), they were all in the wrong place. It's almost like people just put it wherever there was space, no matter whether it was even a matching or pair space for the dumbbells. But once again, for the price and location, this is really small potatoes. I could see myself going here more often if I were staying here longer for a visit.

I wanted to love this place, it was close to my house, convenient, and I walked by the door everyday which is a good day to mentally guilt yourself into going to the gym (don't act like everyone doesn't do this!). But sadly I didn't love it. I'm all for personal trainer to push you but I feel I was pushed a bit too hard. I would always leave feeling glad to be out of there vs glad to have had a good work out. I found myself dreading my appointment. Maybe I'm being picky but when your spending a lot of money for personal training you should build a relationship with your trainer. I always had a different trainer even though I requested the same one. Everyone's training styles are so different so it's hard to get into a routine and stick with it if you never know what it's going to be like. The studio itself is nice, very small but everything in London is. They focus a lot of martial arts (admittedly not my thing). There is a large window between the studio and the waiting area so if there is even 1 other person there privacy is lost. All they can do is stare at you working out until it's their turn. I'm not incredibly self conscious but I did feel the eyes on me. Basically, if you live close by and hate the masses at the conventional gyms, love martial arts, and have the money I would give this place a go. Maybe you will like it more than me.

When I'm in London, the yoga always feels a little weird, not satisfying. I've shopped a lot of studio in LDN, and Heartcore in Notting Hill has been my favorite so far! It's absolutely adorable, well kept and well staffed. Front desk was incredibly welcoming and warm, and I loved Sarah's class! One of the best flows I've taken in awhile, even in LA. Very unique flow and I felt wonderful afterwards. Save yourself the run around and take class here!

They used to be good 10 years ago but they are far beyond all professional and ethical standards. No wonder the recent poor reviews and no wonder their desperation by reducing their prices and sending offers ,to attract customers . One of the receptionists at Earl's court named Bella is rude .she talking to her colleague while I was talking with her ! I contacted Headoffice who promised better customer service and professionalism however ,this person continued to be rude . I called to book massage and enquired to use one of the vouchers they provide to loyal customs but she laughed ! I was very offended from such rude and unprofessional behavior .  My understanding is that you offer the vouchers to your loyal customer when they purchase package to use them and I never used any of the 5 vouchers ,so anyone would expect from a presumable professional salon to deal with  customers in a respectful ,decent and professional manner ,rather than such disgusting and offensive behavior ! I contacted the head office again about this person's rude and unprofessional behavior but no acknowledgement or apology !!! They used to be good 10 years ago but obviously they fell very short of the required professional and ethical standards ! As such ,I was honored to go this place again and applied for a charge back through my bank for a refund of all prepaid massages . Avoid and better go to a professional place . 0/5
