From day one, everyone here has been incredibly welcoming, supportive, and genuinely kind. It never feels intimidating, no matter your fitness level. The community is what really makes this gym special -- people encourage each other and celebrate progress in a way that feels authentic. Beyond the physical benefits, this gym has helped me so much with stress and anxiety. It's become a place where I can reset mentally as much as physically, and that's something I'm really grateful for. If you're looking for a gym where you feel comfortable, supported, and actually want to show up, this is it. Highly recommend!

He had trained my brother in law a few years back and the results were impressive. I wanted the same and he agreed to train me at this new place called the Underground Fitness Studio. The first thing to know is that this location shares the parking lot with Chase bank. It's also important to know that it's OK to park there because they are a tenant despite the fact that the signage everywhere says chase bank parking only. The second thing to know is that Verizon cell service anyways stinks because it's underground. In the short time I had with Adrian, I did begin to see results! I lost about 10 pounds and I was heartened to learn that despite the fact that Adrian was moving to Florida, he was placing me in the very good and capable hands of Danny. Folks, I have tried personal training on and off for years now and never have I had such good results so quickly. Not only that though but now that I'm working with Danny, I really see the difference a dedicated and caring trainer can make! Danny is brilliant! He started with an assessment and it is obvious that he cares so much about not only the success of the gym but for the well being of his members! The pictures I am posting are from Adrian's going away party... and while I have seen Danny running anything from training camp for kids to small group classes and personal training the one constant is him regularly going above and beyond the call of duty. In short, Danny personalizes fitness to a point where he meets you where you're at and becomes nothing short of a champion in helping you attain your goals. Look, there is an Orange Theory amd an FFC close by. There are big box gyms in the area too... but I am telling you Yelpers... pound for pound, you are going to have to search far and wide to find the same kind of positive energy and just humble Midwestern I wanna help you attitude that Danny possesses and instills as part of the ethos of his gym. He's teaching me how to eat, the importance of rest, he gives me homework and is escorting me into my next dream chapter of my life. Every day I am more fit, confident and happy because of Danny, Underground Fitness and his endless dedication to truly make a difference. Check this place out. You will not regret it :) ‍‍

His passion for helping others grow and improve really shows in everything he does. I'm extremely grateful for everything I've learned through Tone Up 2 Fitness, and I wish him nothing but the best of luck as he continues to grow his business. I have no doubt he will keep succeeding and open many more locations in the future. Bart is also great for people who don't speak English, as he communicates very well in Polish, English, and Spanish. He is fun, motivating, and easy to work with, which makes every training session enjoyable. It breaks my heart that I have to write this review as my issue has nothing to do with their…read moreservice or the professional trainers and flexologists that work there. I recommend them as part of your aging health and wellness routine. As a former track athlete, I enjoyed the hard (and sometimes painful) stretches to get into needed areas. It is because of these individuals that my review is 3 stars and not 1. This review is a WARNING for anyone who decides to become a member and to beware of their deceptive billing tactics. I had to unfortunately cancel my membership due to personal reasons. I was duped into freezing for 3 months. At the end of I could cancel or continue on with my membership. I choose to cancel knowing there would likely be a penalty only to be charged $329 at my next billing date (a month from then) because I was 30 days and not 31 days from the required cancellation time period. I wasn't even offered the penalty which I would have graciously took. There membership policies are not transparent or accessible to the members. I was shared information from texted photos that were up for interpretation. There "managers" have no real authority other than to sell, schedule and charge you. Messages and emails are rarely returned, they screen calls and you will never speak to someone with any real authority, which only adds fuel to the fire. To add to the frustration, StretchLab's operations@stretchlab.com to inquire about their policies is not a working email. So good luck trying to find reasonable answers other than "that's our policy". I do not recommend a continued membership. Get something that gives you more financial control. Looks like a learned a hard lesson. Which sucks because bragged about the place since joining and would have likely renewed in the future. They should learn from Fitness Formula as to how to handle these things instead of a bait and switch mentality. I have also heard similar stories with all of Xpoenential franchises. Hope this was helpful!

I have had no injuries or pain the entire time which beats my past experiences working out solo or with a personal trainer. They even understood my physical therapy exercises and helped me get the equipment I needed to do them at the gym before my sessions. It may only be a 20 minute session but it is packed! The trainer sets up the next machine while you are working out so that you go from machine to machine very quickly. I get a whole body workout by the end of my session and feel great instead of beat down. I go 2x a week and have seen huge strength gains in just a few months. Every time I feel like I could not lift anymore weight and every week I'm able to take on another couple pounds. I even beat my husband at arm wrestling the other day! What keeps me coming back is the atmosphere. It's not a crowded, intimidating gym. It's usually just me, a trainer and one other client. I can show up in my baggy gym clothes and not feel out of place. The trainers are fun and non-judgmental. Personally I do better being accountable to someone (a big gym wouldn't notice if I flake out for a month) and yet they are very flexible about scheduling so that it's not difficult to fit into my busy life.

My dance partner anxiously waiting in the wings for word if I would be able to again partner with him and reach national ranking. I was on a quest. Longing to return to the gym where I once lifted weights twice a week and did cardio to maintain my stamina on the floor, I knew that I needed to rebuild my frame differently... I was looking for something that I had dabbled with once: slow training. But where would I find someone who knew what I needed? It was serendipity that one evening searching the internet, I found a video of a local news segment featuring The Exercise Coach. I couldn't believe my eyes - slow training in action supplemented by computerized biofeedback! Sign me up - today! I met Michael the next week. He was patient as I laid it out my goals for him. I was very clear about what I could do, what I wanted to accomplish and when it came to how we needed to get there, well, that was his speech. He agreed to modify his approach to meet my abilities and worked to ensure that each visit I was appropriately challenged. I warned him I would bulk up quickly, and he was happy to see my progress with every visit. In just 3 months, I had gained 10 pounds of lean muscle and had rebuilt a substantial bulk of my missing quad muscles. With another 3 months, I have successfully exceeded my goals with the help of Kevin and Michael I rebuilding my core strength and adding even more lean muscle to my frame. Everyone is thrilled to see me back on the floor training for competition in 2019! Thank you Kevin and Michael for all that you have done to help me return to the floor.
