177lbs. That's what I weighed at on my 23rd birthday, mind you, I'm shorter than 5'0", I felt and looked liked an Umpa-Lumpa. Looking down I couldn't even see my feet, let alone touch my toes .Frusterated wouldn't even begin to describe how I was feeling, it was desperation I knew I something needed to change. Before Joe, I went through everything; "work out buddies", Insanity, cleaneses, diets, diet pills and I even went the lengths to try Fertamine. I even failed on with my first 'personal trainer' and I would without fail gain the weight right back. It wasn't even about the weight at this point, it was the feeling that I had lost control of the direction my life was going and eating became a symptom of how I delt with the issues in my life. It was comfroting, it was always there, it would never leave me. I created a physical and mental barrier to keep others and myself out. A force, a voice, my spirit, whatever you wanna call it, kept tugging at me to not give up to keep fighting and that's how I found Joe.
I spent about a month looking at gyms, and personal trainers within Colorado Springs searching for a solution. At this point I was pretty self-aware of what my downfalls were, and what areas I needed help with. First and foremost, I needed someone to help keep me accountable, to be tough and to call me out on my excuses and b.s. To straight up ask me why I missed a planned session. I needed someone to keep me on track on what I was eating and how much. I needed someone that was going to push and show me what tough love was really all about.
Joe was this and so much beyond what I truly expected. If I had to compare him to someone, I couldn't because he's one of a kind. He's tough, kind, caring, compassionate, passionate but above all else, he's firm. He keeps you on your toes and pushes you. He provide's guidance, and builds you up. Oh and he'll keep you accountable too.
During the first 21 days he has you go through an eating detox, were you elimate all the execess sugars we don't know we consume. He provides a day by day guide and even includes a grocery list to help you find the right foods and even has an eating template with extra delicious recipes. I've been able to transform me eating habits and have learned the power of meal preping.
Now at 5 and 1/2 weeks I've lost 25lbs. My most proudest moment wansn't fitting into a size medium, or when my clothes started to fit loose, it's the strength and mental toughness I been able to build during the first five and a half weeks. My body was transforming into a mean muscle machine! Joe has an exercise called bear crawls, but it's not your normal bear crawl at all! You have a belt tied around you waist and a resistance rope that the person behinds you pulls, and you have to push yourself to be able to crawl forward. During one of the sessions, I was pulling one our coaches! Which is crazy!! But honestly one of my proudest moments because I was becoming the person that I wanted to be. Someone who doesn't give, who pushes herself, and who is strong.
I could go on and on about the how Joe has transformed my life, but nothing is better than first hand experiences. read more
