Alex is hands down the best trainer I have ever worked with. I had reached a plateau and due to some injuries I had lost motivation to even be at the gym. Right from our initial consultation I knew Alex had the personality to motivate me and the knowledge to get me to my goals. The first couple sessions he assessed my weaknesses and came up with a plan to get me back on track. At first, Alex assessed my weaknesses and held my hand getting back to the gym. I was nervous to get into training, because I had never gone to the gym. Alex helped me not only get comfortable and confident at the gym, but also with my body. I had gained some pandemic weight and was looking to lose it, but mostly to get strong. I started noticing small changes in my body only a few months after I started training with Alex. He put me on a routine, so I was able to train with him twice a week at his gym, but also train at the gym 2-3x a week. Alex was the first personal trainer that I ever worked with and I really couldn't have asked for a better experience! Throughout the entire process he was super flexible and accommodating for my pacing and workout adjustments in order to find what worked for my body best. He always listened and knew where to push me versus where to pull back. His 1-on-1 at home gym made me feel super comfortable to joke around and have fun while working out without the pressure of a lot of people watching. Although I only worked with him for 3 months, my body had a super significant change even as someone who was relatively thin to begin with. Alex is one of the only people who has made working out not feel like a chore. He's always fun to be around, understanding, and easy to talk to-- and I hate talking to people. He's so knowledgable on putting together a routine to target what you want to improve, making decisions for you and pushing you when necessary but listening to you and meeting you where you're at every time. Scheduling is a dream and obviously with it being an outdoor gym there are added complications, but Alex is a pro at adjusting both the schedule and the gym to best work with the weather!
