Came here on a work trip and my company booked this hotel. The area it's in is really nice. Belmar…read moreis walkable and full of shops, restaurants, and activities. The twinkling lights on the trees are really nice at night. (My Uber driver dropped me off and said "pretty" lol) The staff here was very friendly and helpful. I was in a fifth floor suite and it was really spacious, clean, bright and comfortable. It had a kitchenette with an island, dishes and spoons, dishwasher, fridge, stovetop etc, which was really a nice touch. I didn't use this in my two days here but could see how it could be really useful to travelers. There's an included breakfast every morning which was pretty decent. They have hot options like scrambled eggs, omelettes, pancakes, oatmeal, as well as the typical breads, pastries, cereals you get in a continental breakfast. I went with yogurt and fruit and granola every day which was very nice. The fruit is the typical mix you get out of a bucket, heavy on the cantaloupe and honeydew which was a tad slimy and tart. Overall though, it was super convenient to have this spread and it's really a lot nicer than a lot of other breakfasts you get at other hotels. Cozy couch. Views of the mountains in the distance. I really enjoyed my stay here. I likely will stay again because of business, but am absolutely looking forward to the next time. Big shout out to Lance who was especially pleasant and professional!

I will start this off by saying the hotel was in the middle of remodeling during my recent stay,…read moreand safe to say our room needed it. While the majority of the hotel was fine, the mattress on the bed were rather uncomfortable (I ended up on the sofa bed because of it) and there were some large and questionable stains of the blinds. Aside from that, the place was pretty decent. Nice and quiet, excellent breakfast for a hotel, and nice staff. The location is also very convenient as it's close to some good restaurants as well as larger stores such as Target and Best Buy. Pretty good for a quick two-night stay before moving on with my travels. If the remodel does address these issues, then I'd say this is safely a 4/5 or maybe even a 5/5. However based on my only experience there, I can't really give it more than a 3/5.

Could not have been happier! Definitely a 5 star experience!…read more It looks like everything was recently renovated so it's very clean and new. Breakfast was great! Especially the scrambled eggs. Their Wednesday evening social was definitely better than average. Beer, wine, cheese, salad, cookies and hot dogs. And the good Costco hotdogs, not the cheap kind. The location was great with just 10 minutes to Golden and 20 minutes to Denver. But what really made this a 5 star experience was the staff. They were all so nice and friendly and went out of their way to give my kiddos a few little treats throughout our stay. The pillows and beds were very comfortable too. I think the only improvement they could make would be to add a small space for a little free library near the lobby for book exchanges. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

We planned to check in late and had to leave at dawn so we didn't get to experience breakfast or any other amenities. The review is for service and the room only. Taylor at the front desk was very welcoming and treated us extra kindly after a long day. The room itself is fairly spacious. The deal breaker here is always noise. No sound proofing from the rooms around you. And you have no buffer from the lights and noise from your own bathroom- just an unfortunate design. Overall for the price point though it's an adequate place to rest for the night.

These have been hard to come by in the last year. The staff was very friendly especially the crew running the breakfast buffet. The buffet was standard for FI. The location was good for us given we were heading west from here. If you want to be near downtown this is pretty far out. Plenty of restaurants nearby that you can walk to. Prices have gotten pretty high for these properties. Overall what we expected.

I am a little delayed by a few months in posting this review. Nothing stands out as particularly over the top at this Fairfield Inn compared to any other on the planet. With that, the exceptions to my statement are the low dresser type piece of furniture below the TV that made it incredibly easy to open up luggage and work out of suitcases versus putting stuff in drawers (which I prefer). Additionally, the moderately interesting pull down shade with a mural of trees and leaves versus a solid panel (way to make something that is uninteresting more intentionally eye catching). The view out my hotel window was the hauntingly quiet and vast lands of the Federal Center buildings which seem desolate and unoccupied. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable though, so all good. As a woman traveling alone, I felt safe and welcomed here from the parking lot to my door latching and closing upon going to retire for the night. Breakfast was standard and moderately uninteresting, but on course for what you would expect at a Fairfield and coffee is hot. When in doubt, there is a Starbucks within maybe a 5 minute walk, in addition to a Mad Greens for the health conscious eater like myself. Not a bunch to walk around and see and having a car seems imperative at this Fairfield Inn. I did use the gym a few times, which was set up with towels and water for my refillable container (the water I expect, the towels I do not). I would say the gym is a bit larger than one would expect for this class of hotel. Plenty of mirrors and plenty of sunlight make the space feel large. So although only giving out a 3 star, it is a positive 3 star at that.

The room was spacious, clean, and well laid-out--ample space for both sleeping and working, which was helpful. The bed was comfortable, linens crisp, and the bathroom fresh and well-maintained. One of the highlights: the complimentary breakfast was solid--hot and cold items, good variety, and consistently replenished. The hotel also has convenient amenities (free WiFi, a fitness area, etc.) that made the stay smooth. The location is convenient for local shopping, dining and easy access to major thoroughfares. Minor nit-picks: parking was slightly crowded during peak hours and although the décor is modern and pleasant, there were a couple of older touches showing wear. That said, these didn't detract from the overall quality of the stay. Would definitely stay here again if I'm back in the area--and recommend it for anyone looking for a modern, reliable hotel with strong amenities.

We learned that this occurs often because people ignore the no smoking rule and light up in their rooms. I suggest that you provide a statement to each guest at sign in that says "There is no smoking allowed in the rooms. If you set off an alarm that results in fire department fines to the hotel, these charges will be added to your bill." That protects the rest of us guests from price increases due to fines that the hotel may have to pay for each false alarm due to smokers.

The rooms are clean and spacious. This is definitely a gem in the middle of a ton of sketchy places. It appear well maintained. They were both happy with their rooms. The breakfast is self serve but it isn't. It's behind a counter and you order what you want and they hand you the plate of food. It's the pretty standard fare.... Eggs, waffles, a meat, and the like. And there is a sand pit right out front with a fiberglass dinosaur. Fossils are the theme in the common areas as well. The pool is also a zero depth entry and is heated as well. The hot tub broke during their stay with an unknown repair date. It's fine, it happens. What peeved me the most was the common usage bathrooms were locked at 6pm. The pool is open until 10. So while hanging out and catching up, if you needed to go to the bathroom, you had to walk to a room and walk back. It's fairly easy for someone like me who is relatively young. However, for my elderly uncle (83) and my in-laws (late 70's) this was a chore. And on those lines, there is a second floor but no elevator. What is the alternative if the entire first floor is sold out but you cannot physically climb stairs? Because of it's location, I don't think selling out is a problem but you never know. I would consider a stay-cation here in the summer because it's close to home and a nice getaway. But I would definitely make sure the hot tub was working first.
