Due to a time crunch we needed the house emptied quickly. Ron and another worker came this morning and after speaking with their manager, Alondra, said we had them all day and quoted us a price. They showed up 30 minutes late which I didn't complain about. They had a rented UHaul truck b/c theirs has been in the shop for over a week, which was strange. After they filled the truck which took 1 1/2 hours they said they would be back within an hour and a half. 2 1/2 hours later Ron called to say management said they were being assigned 2 other jobs instead and wouldn't be back until maybe late tonite. I told them that not only was that unacceptable but they wouldn't be getting paid. Alondra the manager called me and said it was a misunderstanding and they have other smaller jobs they needed to do but ours was a very big job and she thought we weren't in a rush. I explained we heard her workers on the phone getting the ok to spend the day here. She kept saying it was a misunderstanding but the only confusion was on her part. We had two queen mattresses and box springs we no longer needed. We called Waste Management for a…read morebulk pickup four times, and each time they told us "the pickup will be today." They never showed. Finally, the fifth time, Denise told me they'd already picked up our mattresses according to their system. I told her I was looking at them as we spoke. She said she'd schedule another for the next week. Denise also told me about some bag thing they sell at home improvement stores, but the reviews on those are horrendous too. Bags break with no cleanup, no pickups, and worse. By now, my HOA was sending me letters because the mattresses had been on my driveway for two weeks. What is wrong with Waste Management? How can they blatantly lie multiple times? I suppose a monopoly can casually and blatantly lie and stay in business. I gave up on WM. We searched Google and found Team Titan. They had some very positive reviews, so I called them. Tim answered my call immediately and happened to be a few miles from me at the time. They scheduled an appointment for 1:00 PM, and there he was, in my driveway, with his truck at 1:00 PM. They gave me a fair estimate, we agreed, and my mattresses and box springs were finally gone. Tim and his crew were very well spoken, dressed professionally, and very courteous. This is a perfect small business! Completely recommend them for your waste pickup.
