He's now 10mo old & we've had him since June '19, since then he's brought so much joy into our lives. We couldn't have asked for a better pup. From our initial contact with Southern Doodlin to any follow up interaction our experience was nothing less than perfect. By the time we brought him home from Olivia he was 90% potty trained & 100% crate trained. We only ever had less than 5 accidents inside our home, that's how fast he was able to learn! We always get stopped by people because he's so beautiful & friendly. Bodhi & our 6 year old, who was initially timid of dogs, are best of friends! Our family wouldn't hesitate to purchase from Olivia & Southern Doodlin all over again!

We began using Dr. Carter after a bad experience with a different vet 3 years ago. During the last…read morethree years, Dr Carter has only been needed for routine shots. While he has the personality of a small mollusk, he was reasonably priced. Two weeks ago, our 4 year old siamese cat became lethargic, and quit eating. He was promptly brought to Dr. Carter. Almost no questions were asked of us, and no tests were performed before the diagnosis was made. Our cat had a hairball. BRILLIANT! We were instructed to buy expensive hairball treating cat food, and all would be well. After three more days of not eating, the cat was returned to the vet with the same symptoms. Few questions were asked, no bloodwork was done, no x-ray performed, The only "diagnostic" test done was Dr. Carter "felt of him" and the diagnosis remained the same....... still a hairball. (What the fuck is it with Texans that they feel "of" something or taste "of" something?) I asked if Dr. Carter was sure of this diagnosis and I was told "Pretty muchly!" Pretty muchly? Where did he learn how to speak English? I guess he learned to speak English the same place he learned how to "doctor on y'alls critters -n- such." The cat was then taken to a competent vet, who did an x-ray, and found a blockage. It seems our cat ate one of those felt pads that keeps the furniture from scratching the floor. Surgery is being done, and our cat will be fine in a few days. I have a suggestion for the sign in front of his office. David B.Carter D.V.M. Causing y'alls critters a pretty muchly painful life.

Dr. Baker and Dr. Garza took care of our senior babies for a while until we lost them last year. Now, with our newly adopted pups, and under the care of Dr. Masses and Dr. Garza, our little ones are thriving. We adopted them from a rescue unbeknownst of their parasite and ringworm infections. Their foster had told us they were doing good and had a bacterial infection! They were thoroughly examined by the docs here and treated appropriately. They do have their own online pharmacy, but we have found Costco to be more cost effective than Chewy or theirs. All the vet techs we have come across have been fabulous and sweet. Sometimes, when calling in and at busy times, someone may not answer. But, don't give up, once in, it's easy to make appointments. An extra fee is charged when paying by credit card.

Alamo was able to get her in within hours to see what was going on. Dr. Garza was so amazing. His bedside manner to us and our baby girl was incredible! He sedated her and immediately began his assessment, diagnosed her, and came up with a treatment plan. He thoroughly explained her diagnosis and answered all the questions we had. We're 24 hours later and she's back up and moving around on her own (slowly of course) but we're on the right path to get her well again. I'm moving all my fur babies to this vet and I highly recommend them! Our vet tech was as sweet as can be as well. You can tell they love what they do and have a true love for fur babies and fur parents that come in under high stress situations. I am so thankful!
