When I reached out to Steven for assistance two weeks ago he was eager to help. He was able to set…read moreup an appointment the first thing the next day. Even though a pending Hurricane was coming he filed the necessary papers before the courts closed for two days. Also he personally phoned me to see that I got the court date in the mail to make sure I would be there. Anyone else would have sat on filing the necessary papers and never called to see if I got the papers in the mail. Now over the 30 years I have lived in South Florida I have needed legal assistance for various reasons. I can honestly say none can compare to him. He is thorough, educated and most of all he didn't stress me further on the situation at hand. Well going into court with him he proved my feelings about him to be correct. The judge in the case even commented at the end, on what a great lawyer I had represent me. End result we won the case. I told him earlier today I was happy either way since I was treated with such respect and compassion. Well he has me as a client now for good. Good thing that he is young so I have no fear that he will retire on me anytime soon. I highly recommend him for all your legal needs.

I reached out to Light & Gonzalez after reading their great reviews, and my initial impression was…read morevery positive. Attorney Light was professional, and Dustin provided excellent customer service. They both came across as ambitious, knowledgeable, and eager to help... which gave me confidence in working with them. Unfortunately, that confidence faded over time. Attorney Light initially agreed to take my case once he finished another matter, but months have passed with no follow-up. I've called and emailed several times. Each time Dustin politely asked me to send an email, but I never received a response. I completely understand that people get busy and personal matters can arise...and I even sent my sympathies regarding a matter. Still, going silent for months without so much as a courtesy update feels unprofessional. If you're looking for a firm that offers an encouraging consultation and good conversation, they're great. But if you need consistent communication and follow-through, my experience suggests you may want to look elsewhere.

I had the great fortune of finding Mr. Anthony Murphy, Esq., to manage my defense with respect to a…read moresmall claims court case I had with a neighbor who was angered because of the trimming of his trees that came over onto my property posing a safety threat. Mr. Murphy put things into perspective for me from the very first meeting I had with him and he immediately put into place a strategy and motion for dismissal based upon the lack of "damage" definition with respect to "property destruction" the plaintiff stated in his lawsuit filing. Inexplicably, the motion was not ruled on by the judge, who preferred to wait until the scheduled trial date for making her decision. Mr. Murphy was dedicated to winning the case for me, and attended several hearings called by the judge, as well as a rescheduling of the trial a total of 3 times dragging out the original trial date 6 months. During this time, Mr. Murphy put together a motion for "Summary for Disposition" outlining the defense with evidence and facts in order that the case be dismissed without going to trial. He urged the judge twice to make a judgement on the disposition and she finally relented, and ruled to dismiss the case. It was Mr. Murphy's excellent guidance through this rather frustrating time of having to deal with an unruly Plaintiff, and questionable judgement from a judge not to consider pre-trial motions for dismissal, which eventually won out in the end. I cannot thank Mr. Murphy enough nor recommend him enough to others needing a legal professional to help them in an array of the different legal services he provides. In fact, I was impressed with Mr. Murphy's legal professionalism due to Mr. Murphy's well written legal documents, responsiveness, and determination.

Having retired from advertising I know how expensive it is to produce a commercial, pay for air time and for a firm to do that as a PSA caught my attention. After we called they came to us immediately and the case was started. Most of our contact was with Kelia Tejada and she was wonderful to work with. She was very, very kind and sympathetic and so was our attorney Fernando. Unfortunately this was our second time having to be involved in an injury case so I have that experience to compare to.
