There is truly no better or more qualified person to learn TKD from in the US, or world (seriously look him up). I started taking lessons here when I was around 5 years old with my family. My family has continued to train here throughout the following decades (I'm nearly 40 now) and love it just as much as when we first started. My entire family started as white belts and most achieved their black belt or beyond. The instructors are patient, kind, and experienced. You get the benefits of working in groups but also having break-out one on one style sessions during the group classes so that you can really learn the skills you're working on in the correct way. It was a great way to bond as a family and be engaged with our community. I highly recommend Yung Ho Martial Arts School for anyone serious about learning TKD. The community of students and instructors is perfect for all levels and ages, ensures an excellent workout while also teaching the values, beauty, and principles of Taekwondo. Plus they are located right in the heart of Tampa just off of 275 making it convenient to access from almost anywhere in Tampa. Definitely worth the drive.

It's kind of like personal training in a team setting. Great workout! Staff and instructors are caring. Children learned about respect, discipline, leadership, friendship, and self defense. If they're in after care, they have snacks, do homework, taekwondo self defense. They don't want to leave, which is a good sign. In the beginning, child might feel it's tough, but once child gets used to the program, they grow and learn.
