I buy all my DVDs here, and so far have only had one be defective, and it was my machine, not their fault. Staff is always friendly, always ask if I'm looking for anything in particular, and have helped me track down stuff before.
Prices are great, $2.50 per DVD, no matter what edition. Price goes down to $2 if you buy in lots of 5. Generally have multiple copies of popular ones, so you have your pick of which edition or quality you want. The stock literally changes every time I'm in, so it's worth the time to browse. Keep checking back weekly and don't settle, eventually they will likely get the exact movie you're looking for.
Also great when it comes to buying, won't beat around the bush when giving an appraisal. They do check everything to see if it's scratched up. If something won't sell, they're honest about it, and will give a fair consistent price for everything else. If you don't like being rejected, just don't show up with a DVD they have 20 copies of already, they won't even look at it. Take a minute to browse the selection (it's alphabetized, they're one of the only pawn shops that do that) and see if they have your movie already.
Love this shop and will continue to do business here. read more
