If you're thinking about spending money to invest in a new deck, this is THE company to go with!…read more It's what they do, and they do it because they love it. Their bid came in about the same as my middle-of-the-road general contractor. The big difference - Hilton Head Decks and Tiki Huts will pull permits every step on the way - all done to code; they used a backhoe to dig out the dirt and prep the ground; marine grade wood for framing; meticulous construction, no cutting corners, finest materials (nothing from Home Depot for example). I had a change order and delayed the project, no problem. I think the new deck will outlast my house! Johan is the friendly owner, and he gets his hands dirty, crew is hard-working and polite. If you reach out and he doesn't call back right away - TRY AGAIN as he is often on site and they are busy, but so worth it.
