With in an hour I got a call and the was trying to sell me a second problem the front discs and pads. I know the limit for discs and pads yes they are worn but still have some life left. The issue with the knocking /rattling while accelerating was not addressed how ever they told me it was a ball joint so they changed the swing arm. When collecting the car and paid I noticed the noise was still there just shows they didn't even test drive the car after the incorrect work they done. Left the car with them just for them to not do anything to sort the issue cos they already got their money so bigger that customer. You are better off using someone else Also please be aware that they will try to get you to pay cash as the old receptionist try to push me to do sever times while I was there. This is a way they avoid paying tax. Be aware read the reviews on them and be mindful full of the reviews as for every bad review they most likely have their staff write 2-3 good reviews. Some relevant facts:…read more - I hate dealing with servicing my car - I don't drive a merc - I am very lazy Mainly Mercs is where I've used a couple of times to get my car serviced/MOT and I've got to say, I'm very impressed with the service/cost. I tend to leave anything to do with my car for way too long and never get it serviced when I'm meant to which meant this time, there was quite a lot to get done to my car to get it MOT-worthy. The only real complaint I have about this place is the "road" it's on - it's more like a single-lane dirt track and you better be careful of cars coming the other way and potholes. All up though, the service here is great and the staff are really friendly and helpful.

I call again a few days later they said they phoned, yet I have no missed calls or voice messages from them. I was told about 3 weeks ago the book in lead time was about 3 weeks, as of writing this review and 3 weeks later it's now 6 weeks. Why I couldn't get booked in 3 weeks ago considering I have told you have the parts in hand as well. So I was told they would look to get OEM parts since my car is fairly new from the manufacturer, cool no problem with that. However they said the lead time of getting an OEM flywheel in was 6 weeks. £560 odd was the quote for the part. I was quite easily able to get a SACH Preformance flywheel which is the same or better than OEM for £345 within days from Germany. I can't recommend as of right now.

Got a hold of MCRH number from the internet. Spoke to Ian on the phone and explained to him what had happened. he said he would call back in 10 minutes with a quote. he did and it was a lot cheaper than the cheapest quote we got locally. Ian came from bathgate to Rutherglen on a bank holiday monday, He arrived 20 minutes before the 10.30am appointment. I handed him the keys to the car and he got on with the job. A perfectly pleasant man. Not only do you get cheaper work done, there is a complete breakdown of how the quote was worked out on the invoice. The job was perfect and our car is actually running better than ever. Not only was he cheaper but we were also given a money off voucher for any further work if we use him. The best thing is he comes to you, so there no pick up charges. Would definatly recommend this company.
