Second visit I get a little confident by the stylist Michael Leigh so not only do I get highlights but I had him give me a new do. Well the response was crazy and the compliments were flowing. In fact a week after getting my last hair appointment I was out of town and need a blow out for a wedding I was attending. The stylist there complimented my cut and highlights. So the cherry on top of compliments came from my husband. He saw all the hoopla so he made an appointment to come to Michael Leigh for a haircut. Well he's already been back for a second appointment. So now we both have Michael Leigh do our hair. The thing about Yelp you hate to share your secrets but since we both have our next appointments already made I will let you all know. Best salon in town! Tracy has been a good friend since elementary school and she has built this business with her heart and soul! The whole experience is delightful. My Happy Place. A salon alive is worth the drive! My amazing board certified master stylist, Stephen, has taken care of my hair for almost a decade. In 2015, I relocated to Chicago for 9 months of work, and I'd fly home for cuts and highlights. All the staff, Tracy, Melanie, Angela, William and Michael Lee (who is back again!) are all so warm. Even though I moved to West Miramar from Fort Lauderdale back in 2010, and have a second home in Islamorada, I continue to drive up drive and make my afternoons off count with a fun day in Fort Lauderdale. Allow me to correct that error right now with the 5-Stars Tracy and her team deserve. I drive up from Miami every 5 weeks or so for services at this fantastic hair salon. I trust no one with my hair but Stephen Anthony, a gifted colorist and stylist. As an American Board certified colorist Stephen helps me continue to fool many people into thinking I've managed to retain my natural blonde color. Tracy, the owner, insists on a highly professional staff and cares for every detail of her business. No matter how I feel on any given day, when I leave Tracy Carroll's, I feel good about myself. Today, still a very happy client in 2017, I add more accolades as I sit here enjoying conversation and great hair and a new star for the Esthetician Diana who works wonders with my brows and skin. I love everything about Tracy Carroll salon! The personnel is so courtesy they make you feel like family. I have been getting treatment here, mostly for highlights for over 3 years by Stephen and he is amazing! Everything from cuts, color and extensions!! I have received so many compliments from people on my hair styles and that is all due to his amazing talent. In addition, I receive facial treatments a couple times of year when needed and their esthetician is wonderful and guides you on the best treatments for your skin. I love going to TC salon. I have never had a better experience and out come in the same place before. The people are wonderful, they treat you like an actual person and the salon is very clean and homey like. My hair turned out just the way I wanted it to and all because here they listen to what you want and give options according to your hair type. Normally when I have my eyebrows waxed I can't go anywhere for hours after because I am completely red, but that doesn't happen here. I didn't even realize that I was done it was such a great experience. I had my toes done as well and I absolutely had the best experience. Tracy Carroll Salon is not your typical salon atmosphere. It's a beautiful, almost cottage-like setting (it is actually a house) and all of the staff are friendly and accommodating. I go to Stephen Anthony and he is excellent at his craft. He is uber-talented and he's also such a great person. Really. (Probably one of the most balanced and genuine people I have ever met.)You leave his chair feeling good about yourself and not just in a superficial "I just got incredible highlights" way. This salon was absolutely spectacular! I was worked in no problem even though I called last minute, and the salon experts were all very nice and made me feel very welcomed. Stephen did an amazing job on my hair and was honest with me when I went in for a consultation and asked for opinions. I have never been happier with my hair. He made sure 100% that I was going to be happy walking out of the salon. Tracy, even though busy, made sure to say hello and make me feel at home while making small talk. While here I also had my eyebrows waxed and eyelashes tinted to go with the hair to create a total new experience. And an experience is exactly what I got.
