Selection includes a wide range of merchandise such as housewares, crafts, books, furniture, sporting goods, and separate areas for men's, women's, teen's and children's clothing. Clothing is an especially good value when they run "basket sales" for $5. For approximately the first 15 years or so the Top Notch Thrift Store was overseen by woman with retail management experience from the retail store Nordstrom (American luxury department store chain headquartered in Seattle, Washington). Now for the most recent few years, approximately 2022 and on, the store has gone through about one manager a year. Much of the original staff left as well, which is too bad as they were friendly. Some of the new staff are great, some less so. The bargains are always there though. Note: it's also across the street from a coffee and chocolate shop.
