I asked for a range low to high on pricing. He was reluctant but said i am not cheep. I said i agree. He then prceeds to tell me it sounds like you are just looking for the cheapest way out so take it to TrueValue. I told him not to make assumotions about what i am looking for or how much i am willing to spend. He got really crass at that point and told me to take it somewhere else. I reminded him this is a small town and you should not treat people like this. He could care less. He apperently feels like he is gods gift to small enigine repair. Well guess what. I will take my business else where not because of pricing but because if his I dont give a crap if i get your business or not attitude. I should mention durring the estimate conversation her was all over the place from 75 to 500. A wierd quote given that i told hime exactly what engine i have. He kept saying it depends on what you have even after i told him. He was clearly setting me up for a big price with the whole, yours was more expensive line after i brougjt it in. Thats why he would not committ to a price. I recommend you go where your business is appreciated. The stress of a broken yard implement is stress enough without the added stress of a shop insulting you and being non commital on price. Attitude is everything and this place has a very bad one. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.
