Prior to these two, I had a toy poodle and toy terrier both 3 pounds. They went to these groomers as well for 13 and 14 years before passing. Again, they always did an excellent job and my dogs showed no anxiety going there or when leaving. I would highly recommend bangor pet resort and spa. I chose these groomers after another local grooming facility left a 2 inch gash in my 3 pound poodle and did not even notify me of it. I saw it after bringing her home. I called and was given excuses but not not any type of apology. My dogs never returned to that facility. My only concern is that the time they are going to be there is not consistent, ranging from 4 hrs to 6 or 7. However I do understand that there are many reasons it would be difficult to keep a consistent schedule. This concern however does not deter me from taking them there. We have 2 mini goldendoodles and because there are not many groomers in Bar Harbor Maine we had to wait quite a while to get an appointment. The front desk staff was very friendly and efficient. I was checked in quickly and they said they would give me a call when they were finished. I dropped them off around 8:30am and was able to pick them up around 1:30pm. They listened to what I was looking for and did a great job with their hair. They could have went a little bit shorter on the head but overall they looked great! Would absolutely come back when we visit the area again!

Darcel and Cass were so sweet and understanding with her and went above and beyond to make our pup comfortable and at ease. They truly understand dog behaviors and work with each dog's personality to make the experience at Uncle Buggy's a positive one. The facility is well thought out and welcoming and spotlessly clean. The outside yard is safe and big and has fun things for dogs to do (i.e. a big dirt pile for those, like my girl, who like to dig). We've been…read moretaking our 7 year old lab there for boarding since she was a puppy and have never had anything but great experiences. I've found that they are very responsive via telephone, are very pleasant when interacting at the facility, and even send pics and texts while she is there. We had taken our lab to other boarders who charge $30 per night, and then $10 more if you want them to have playtime, then $10 more if you want them to get a walk. One of the fantastic things about Zeke's is that they have a HUGE fenced in yard that the dogs get the run of for hours of play time. No extra charge for exercise! I feel guilty enough leaving her at a boarders, so knowing she isn't kenneled much, outside of overnight and naptime, is a huge relief to me. Another bonus... they always give the dogs a bath before pickup and even washed our dog bed this last time! We took our lab and our new dog over the holidays this year and it was our new pup's first time at a boarders. They were able to share a kennel and I knew he would be well taken care of. Our dogs have NEVER come back injured, only happy and exhausted!

I was impressed with the selection and variety of aquatic fish offerings in this small shop. The store also had birds, reptiles, and small animals. Fully stocked with supplies too, I know I'd be a customer if I lived in the area. I interacted with one of the staff members, she was friendly and knowledgeable about animals. Store was clean and the animals looked like they were well cared for.
