Purchased a bunch of items for home delivery. The store was sold out of one or two items which…read morethey said would be shipped which I agreed to. The delivery was seamless and the delivery person was great. Polite friendly, helpful and on time. So a day or so later my shipped items arrived. One of the shipped items was two x four packs of the small 9 volt batteries. These were Duracell Batteries so not cheap. Well both pack had been opened then taped closed and they had only 8 months of the 5 year guarantee left on them. So yeah not impressed, just a little frustrated at having to do a return. So you might be wondering why I am scoring the store so low when the batteries didn't even come from there. Well, I got my return barcode from the app and went to the store and things went rapidly down hill. I was told by the associate that the batteries needed to be in a box ready for shipping, despite it saying right under my return bar code "No box, we will box it up for you." After showing the associate what it said he said "Well, you should have put it in the box they came in!" I told him they came in a one of those bubble wrap envelopes not a box. His response was, "Well we sell these in store, you should have just bought them here in the first place and you wouldn't have had to do all this." I asked him if I could go grab a box from the packaging section and pay for it there at the customer service desk and he said "You will need to purchase tape as well, we don't have any." While there is a full tape gun clearly in sight behind him. He then stated "Per policy, they cannot accept Batteries for return at Neighborhood Stores". At this point I had enough of the lies and BS and left the store. I would call this associate an A55-hole, but A55-holes are useful!

The store is nicely stocked and clean, which is a change from many other Markets in NWA. Their produce section seems smaller but they usually have what I need. This store even has a deli in the back with sliced meats and chicken. Only certain Markets have an actual deli anymore. I definitely drive to this store over the other market nearby on Wedington.

Pam and Chris were part of the management team during my time there, and unfortunately, I did not feel supported or comfortable bringing up concerns. The overall environment became stressful enough that I ultimately decided to leave. I also would not recommend shopping here if you expect professional customer service. In my experience, Pam spoke negatively about customers and rolled her eyes over even minor issues, which made the environment feel uncomfortable and unprofessional. This is just my personal experience, but I think both potential employees and customers should be aware of the environment before applying or shopping here. They even have camping, fishing, and sports stuff and a big shoe area in the back. The discontinued items they carry are usually name brand items but vary on pricing. I have gone before and found tons of great deals like $4 earhart tanks, Nike shorts, and sports bras. But then I will go the next month and everything is $20-30 each. It is worth stopping by to see what they have but they have no returns so be sure to go when they have a good sale.

I did a screenshot and sent them to a friend in Texas, who shares my love for cow print, just so he could admire them, too. A few minutes later, he told me that he contacted the store, purchased them for me, and they were ready for pickup... as a happy gift. Thanks, Jack! I had never been in the store before, only admired their goods online. The pandemic has kept me home for the most part, but now I had an excuse to visit their store. As I approached the front door, I noticed that they seem to be very serious about the pandemic, with sanitizer at the door, mask required signs, and encouraged social distancing. This put me more at ease. I appreciate that and wish I could give one more star for that reason. They had my pillows ready for me, but I took some time and checked out their store. That place is a plethora of unique goodies and I was quite impressed. The prices are reasonable and fair, and if I had more time, I probably would have come home with a ton of stuff. I only wish I would have made it to their store sooner, particularly before Christmas. I definitely will be returning. PS I absolutely love the pillows. They go with my decor perfectly and are great quality. Iris was a little hesitant at first (see photo) but she has since warmed up to the pillows that kind of look like her.
