My husband and I had a pleasant shopping experience overall, went to the counter, paid for everything, including the pellets, which you need to drive around back to pick up. When we drove around back, a woman driving a forklift met us and asked for a reciept to prove we paid for the pellets. (standard procedure..no worries) She immediately commented that we were given a 10% on the pellets and asked if we had used a coupon, and when we responded no, she told us we would have to go inside to pay the difference, that we were only supposed to get 5% off. My husband politely reminded her that if the cashier made a mistake in ringing us out, we shouldn't have to pay for it, it was thier mistake. She shrugged her shoulders and handed me the reciept and said "whatever...what kind of pellets do you want?" She then got the pellets and dropped them behind our car. While cutting the plastic off so we could load them, she looked at my husband and said "You are not very nice so this is not for you" and turned to me and proceeded to tell me that the pellets were going on sale on Wed so if we find we needed more to be sure to come back on Wed. When my husband approached her about her comment, she got beligerent and defensive...claiming she was a farmer and is used to people being rude and understood people have bad days and is used to abuse from customers and she wasn't going to take it personally. She hopped on her forklift and said "I hope you can have a better rest of your day" and sped off...not even offering to help load the pellets. (NOT THE SERVICE I HAVE RECIEVED IN THE PAST). My husband was not rude and her behavior and her comments were both unprofessional and unwarranted (and quite honestly didn't really make any sense!). I am completely apphauled at the way we were treated. read more
